snaps are a little more consistent now
they're slightly altered but have the same gaps in the case of 03:34:698 (214698|0,214698|2,214731|3,215098|3,215164|1) - because of the interrupting 1/8s
i was ending the ln at the 2nd kick since the string i ended it on earlier was much less audible
but now that you've pointed it out, all instances where i used that pattern are much quicker to fade out.
would patterns like these be good replacements?
00:32:498 and 00:38:898 - https://gyazo.com/5f5ecb9889263adeab4fd7e3c8bf57d0
00:37:298 and 00:42:098 - https://gyazo.com/fda5c7a62ed0c2236b30ad9eb6ddf6e0
its supposed to represent the same fade-out of the synth as these ones are representing: 01:45:898 (105898|2,105948|0,106031|1) -
its just that 01:45:898 (105898|2,105948|0,106031|1,112298|2,112348|0,112398|1) - is a bit faster since they're combined into the same snaps as the drums
i shouldve been a bit more specific, my bad.
i meant i wanted it to stay consistent even in a case like 01:12:664 (72664|3) - where the base of the ln starts on a 1/12
it was meant to be a super spiced-up variation of what i used at 02:53:298 since the impacts hit much harder.
03:33:098 used a shield instead of a 4th column ln since you can hear the sound at 03:33:498 slightly more clearly than the rest.
all of the ln releases were intended, as they gradually get closer to the next impact. i just see them as a way to vary the patterns
however, all of this is just my interpretation based on what dubstek provided me.
ill represent the muffled background sound similar to what i did at 02:48:098 here then.
ALSO: re-listening to 03:22:898 - made me realize its 1/8, so i changed it around accordingly
the 3 note rhythm at 01:36:198 - felt more natural than using just 2 & it doubles as representation for the synth sound. if necessary, i can shorten lns like at 01:35:498 (95498|3) - by 1/4 to make this a bit more obvious.
i believe i ignored 01:38:998 on purpose to avoid the anchor it would cause, but i decided to add it anyways since it does feel off.
i shortened the lns representing the bass, but the other ln was meant to end on 1/12 to stay consistent in any cases of the ln head beginning on a 1/12 snap.
would changing the rice to start on the left hand be reasonable? id rather keep the ln length as it is
