MCPXiaoBai's Modding History

I see 00:56:424 missing a note it will be added. the doubles are intentional to create stacks at the start of 1/1, like 00:54:854 (54854|3,55029|3,55203|3) - 00:56:249 (56249|3,56424|3,56598|3) - 00:59:040 (59040|0,59215|0,59389|0) - (<- adjusted) -01:00:436 (60436|0,60610|0,60784|0) - (<-adjusted)
for me it would be impossible to map all the 6 consec synth (00:33:924 (33924|2,34098|1,34273|1,34447|1,34622|3,34796|3) - for example) with double so I followed similar structure like previous two bars to map a double at 4th 1/2 but also differenciating with patterns like one-hand doubles 00:34:273 (34273|1,34273|0,34447|0,34447|1) - vs 00:32:877 (32877|2,32877|3,33052|3,33052|1) - 00:31:482 (31482|0,31482|1,31656|2,31656|0) -
it's not a note-to-sound case here just an overall increase of density to the addition of drums, similar to 00:52:063 -
it's transition part and leading to the first js part so I used some one hand trills to differenciate with normal js, so to make player nervous for next part
yeah I understand it's a ghost note if we focus on pitch here but that wasn't my intention
the pitch is not aligned to 1/2 here, I understand your point but this kind of "boring" opening actually gets player prepared for dumping on 1/4s instead of trying to catch the pitch and that fits the map overall style imo
thank you :D
good
Thx for the mods, I will check when I have time o7

well... since the pitch of those syllables are the same it's fine to use repeating LNs? There are similar ideas shown in this part like 01:49:782 (109782|2,109990|3,110198|2,110407|3) - will keep for now
yes
keep: very personal preference here, stacking the triple on 123 cols instead of 'spliting' them up 124 feels better cuz the chord of pitch (bass and main melody) reunited in this sound. I'll try keep the response short for now
any 1/4s are being intentionally avoided here to highlight the higher pitch with only 1/2 LNs
should be done
done
sure
ah wait I mistaken 02:20:023 - the stack on col 2 is intentional here, serve for the flicky bass sound
sure
02:17:523 (137523|2) - it will create 5 stack on col 2 if changed, same for 02:20:023 - will create 5 stack on col 1
the reason why 01:12:106 (72106|2,72106|0) - varies from 00:58:773 (58773|2,58773|3) - is: I want to emphasize the lyrics being different for the two parts, you can see the difference between 00:56:898 (56898|2,57315|2,57523|0,57731|2,57940|0,58148|2,58148|3) - and 01:10:231 (70231|3,70648|1,70856|3,71065|0,71273|1,71481|2,71481|3) - and the part you questioned is also part of this lyric variation representation
ok emm firstly, for me 01:12:106 (72106|2,72106|0) - this should only relate to 00:58:773 (58773|2,58773|3) - the other double short LNs being on same hand are for different concepts and intentions (also for 02:03:981 - 02:50:440 - )
emm no it makes right hand too hard as prev LN end in blue, I think the difficulty of 4 stack is fine in general
rearranged 00:37:940 (37940|2,37940|3,37940|0) -
I think the weight can already be differed with the LN release. keep unless necessary to change
I want 00:01:481 (1481|1,1585|0,1690|2) - to differ from stair, like a turnaround, for the addition of long piano sound, so making them all stairs may lose this intention. Same for 00:08:148 (8148|2,8252|0,8356|1) - keep unless necessary to change

nah I kinda wanted to enphasize bass + vocals more ( 01:52:731 (112731|2,112731|3) - more specificly) and I just feel like after tripling it the space (visually) cannot help the later double LN to standout.
ok
simply adding an extra note will make this part too packed, and the reason why I put double at 00:47:731 instead of 00:47:940 is to spread notes density more evenly
D:
great map overall thx for req
btw AiMod says your 00:32:508 kiai is not snapped, better fix that
448,192,223712,1,0,0:0:0:0: 64,192,224025,1,0,0:0:0:0: is what I heard
01:59:804
01:00:788 -
00:23:148 double cuz synth, shouldn't compare drum here with 00:23:356
rearranged
in short, just note vocals = piano > other sounds in intro. when piano and vocal both appear they're both mapped.
broken LNs does not match with the flow of lyrics. "wakaranai" should be a continuous state. pitch is not considered here.
It's not clear on 1/4 either, rather simplify
it being transition part having only vocal therefore it's treated differently. vocals are not missed in this part but rather mapped with piano as a whole.
if compared to 00:26:690 , no it's not louder.
ok
nah
nah
03:26:481 added
too weak
the piano can support it anyway, and not mapping the vibrato makes it worse imo
