making easy diff [mania] can help u on improving intensity, density, consistency, variation on simple pattern, and progressive pattern on build up section
The most challenging on making an easy diff are player can clearly follow ur concept easily on 1st try and make fun diff even tho its only around *1.5
Summary from RC Mania with some additional notes from me (not include all just important one n general) Basic guide using 180bpm, Calculation for other BPM like: 120bpm (1/1 -> 1/2) conditional lower than 135bpm can be apply this one 240bpm (1/1 -> 2/1) conditional upper than 225bpm can be apply this one
Easy Diff - Basic drum with interval 1/1 – add some 1/2 layering pattern for intense part - Mostly single note, double for cymbal / crash - Avoid overuse 1/2 pattern on easy diff which is kinda hard for beginner. Max 5 consecutive 1/2 notes - Avoid using 1/2 jack plz
Normal Diff - Basic drum with hat on 1/2 – not recommend to do layering with 1/4 except u have a reason to do that - Avoid using more than 5 consecutive 1/4 notes - Mostly double for snare dan cymbal, single for kick dan hat - Stream on 1/2 pattern need a pause with interval 1/1 - Complex pattern is fine as it still playable. if u put harder, better to use that on Hard Diff
Hard Diff - Mostly double for snare, kick. optional for cymbal sound, it can be triple / double as ur own taste - mainly hard diff was a normal diff with buff. buff can be double for kick, triple for cymbal, or adding 1/4 stream - Chord on 1/4 stream can do within interval 1/1. potential to break the guideline easily so u must becareful with that - Avoid 1/4 jack plz
- Have an enough good audio quality - ( keep players' ears safe ) - Put a good quality background n make sure it fit with ur song - ( 1920x1080p ) - Pattern must suit with the song n have any match variation - ( plz dont put random notes )
- Dont put a bunch repeative pattern on different representation sound - ( except u have a good reason to do that ) - Proper density - ( a few notes for calm part, a bunch notes for intense part ) - Smooth flow like for example using pitch relevancy - ( left low pitch - right high pitch )
- Playable on your audiences' target - ( focus on challenging map / casual map ) - Consistency across the difficulty - ( inconsistent causing player confused with your map ) - Have a neat diff spread - ( more lowest/highest difficulty u have on a map, more audiences can reach your map )
I would say ranked on 2021 until 2023 was fantastic. more map more mapper more style more diversity and more keymode raising.
Take a look on 2021 5k have only 4 maps while on 2022 increased a lot to 22. it was huge jump for a keymode with less interest from mayor player base. 2023 was cool year that we have already 25 maps till september. i just say thank you for making this happen to all of you
Also big thanks to push multikey especially all huge set with 12 above difficulties in a set. it really good to see ppl effort to make all around level base have a chance to enjoy the set.
Also wanna see CTB on peak year with more variative and more mapper that can rank atleast not die like none map on qualified state lol. hopefully ctb can grow bigger and bigger
BN CHECK REQ Thanks for trust me being your nominators. see u next time ^w^/ Since there's a lot of BNs, i would like to take only tv size and jpop. other than that, u can try ur luck.
