I am retired after TWC2017. TWC2017 was not directly the reason of this. It is just time to move on and do other things I've been wanting to do.
You can still catch me on my taiko / personal chat discord or find me ranting and raving on twitter if you want to keep in touch! While I do not play this game anymore I am still interested to hear the progress of the players who are still active, especially up and coming players!
Some final notes before I'm gone:
Applerss is a kkdd God. At my best I couldn't even come close to his level. He proves that ddkk / kkdd playstyles can still work at a high level with enough dedication / extremely fast hands.
At the time of quitting I hold nothing against any of the players and people I had the chance to meet (This includes OnosakiHito / Sayaka / Loctav / Backfire as some who may have at some point felt that way with my actions)
I still believe firmly that the ranking system is in dire need of a complete overhaul and not band-aid solutions. Modding v2 is a great first step but much more needs to be done. Good luck to those who push new systems forward in the future of osu!
I'm still scared to talk to Peppy sometimes lol
Canada has had some of the greatest players I've had the delight of playing with. Xakyrie, Haruka, Yuno, Fudgyking, Janitoreihil, Stevenrama, Vladyushko and even the fake Canadian IControl are all players who helped me strive to improve.
FL should not be a ranked mod or should be a mod that gives no score multiplier. There, I said it.
I never really had confidence in my voice until several members of the community really expressed that they enjoyed my commentary and complimented my voice. Thank you for helping me gain confidence as it's helped me more than you could ever imagine. I now make a part time living as a voice actor / voice over artist, and I'd have never considered this a possibility before I received your support.
That's about it. Thank you all again for everything. I never knew I could get so much from pressing buttons to red and blue drums with faces.
