this is cheesy as hell but genuinely, thank you to everyone that's supported me, from my closest friends to the cool people that leave nice comments on my maps (i read all of them and it means a lot). at the end of the day, im just here to have fun—wouldn't have kept pushin without ya
if i accepted please tell me when your first BN modsand PLEASE give constant reminders! DO NOT BE AFRAID TO POKE ME FOR YOUR ACCEPTED REQ or else i might take forever
if you're a new mapper please don't ask for feedback because i suck at giving feedback to new mappers - other bns are better suited so go ask them instead! reason being it's much more effective for me to just mod new mapper maps but that takes a lot of time
i try to respond to everyone - if you didn't get a response within ~24hrs it means i forgot, please catch me in-game!
I generally mod on my own accord. Please don't request unless your map is something I'm "always open" for.
Even if you do request, expect me to either be slow or outright deny 99% of the time as I'm really busy with other stuff like NAT work, tourney work, and school. Modding motivation is low.
Always open for:
Songs by any one of my favorite artists.
Future bass/core or jazz/swing songs.
Japanese or electronic songs by any featured artist(there are a lot!).
This list will hopefully grow as I find new artists that I like. Any vocalists in parentheses are favorite artists as well.In red are artists I want to see more of.
Above all else, I prioritize song choice. If you map something from an artist that I like and your map is high quality, there's a high chance I'll be interested. No unofficial cuts, though. Likewise, short versions have much lower priority than full versions.
I prefer H/I/X/X+ spreads. If your set doesn't have at least an Extra, the chances of me accepting drop significantly. This doesn't mean I don't take any interest in other spreads, though!
The more you, the set host, contribute to the set, the more interested I'll be. I'm not really a fan of nominating something where the host only made 1 out of the 6 difficulties.
My favorite types of maps are those that connect really well with their respective songs.Examples: Kikoku Doukoku Jigokuraku, Mugen Shitto Gekijou, Kan Saete Kuyashiiwa. However, this doesn't mean I don't like other styles! I'm not too strict when it comes to mapping style, but there's a much higher chance I'll like your map if it's unique to the song in some way.
I like adding new content to the game! If your map looks like something I've already seen hundreds of times, I probably won't be too interested unless I feel like there's a lack of that specific song or genre in the ranked section. Similarly, if you're trying to rank a song that's been ranked multiple times already, I likely won't be interested.
If I know you, feel free to request anything at any time but try to keep my preferences in mind.
Make whatever you want, as long as it makes sense to you. You don't need other people to like what you make. As long as you're satisfied with your creation, stick with it. In the wise words of Taeyang: "don't force subjective point of view"
