PLAY MORE: the player. I simply play more than you!
Hidden player with horrible tapping, I haven't learned how to stream yet. I only use Vaxei's Bacon Boi 1.0 skin because then I play just like Vaxei.
My mechanic skills are very lacking, be it high AR, high bpm, big jumps, speed, fingercontrol, everything fast gives me trouble. I'm always amazed at how people can play DT so well.
Wacom CTL-672 (right-handed) with default drivers (Area coordinates 3056 10188 and 4391 16437). It's the big one (really dumb from me to get this one on a normal area, but I didn't know what area was I gonna use when I got it) GXT 865 ASTA Keyboard with Red switches (probably not even a good brand of switches) yeah I know it's not good but whatever maybe I'll buy a sayodevice someday. Monitor I upgraded to 165 Hz
std= index+middle singletap taiko= ddkk singletap with both hands (?)
My favourite anime is Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann! Even the first map I played, is that anime's OP, Sorairo Days! One of my oldest surviving scores (I had a perfectionist mindset from the get go... so the very first passes are overwritten).
Offline playtime: just no. I see no real reason to play offline.
Focus more on the music for the cursor movement, and reading: often when you think the song is too fast to tap, it's just your aim that is lagging behind. If you can look at every individual number inside every circle, you're not going to miss!
PLAY MORE DOUBLETIME, YOUR MECHANICS SUCK BECAUSE YOU AVOID AR 10.3 FARM SLOP
Play harder maps, farming nomod 5 stars <200 bpm is not gonna get you anywhere. You improve a lot more from shredding dt and high bpm! I know you hate to do badly, just suck it up.
Don't be jealous of better/faster improving players. You will just train more than any of them!
You're reading too slowly on low ar hidden... clearly overestimating how slow the ar is all the time (especially on streams)
It's embarrassing to admit but... learn tapping, like actually. Firetrucking fc d.m.c. already brother, that's a 7 digit map.
You're not skillcapped yet!
Tournaments: sometimes I plan to play one, then remember I'm too bad to get past qualifiers and give up
If you're epic and make me giggle like a schoolgirl with your plays I will add you to the list
Shoutout to Luckywonder for making me discover this game and to Kirisviel for being the only one from the initial group who kept playing Thank you Crazy Hot for for 1 month of supporter! <3
Initially my only true goals were just to get 5 digit and my first 200 pp play (back then they were goals close in difficulty, crazy isn't it?), it took about a year and a half for both. Lets see how long it takes to get some of these (color haxed to represent the current difficulty! Achieved goals have no color, so the rank goes white<green<yellow<red<purple):
Stop avoiding to push my limits just to get pp □
Learn AR10 to the point I don't care anymore about hr on easy maps □
I'll make up new goals as these get achieved I tried to keep them achievable, but I never believed I could get to this point either so who knows what else I can accomplish.
The Pretender: RLC is the goat. Many others mapped the song so many times after him, and all those are just worse. Very fun map and my inspiration to start mapping myself.
Xue Mao Jiao: Extremely creative paw patterns and overall cutest map I ever played.
Yoru ni kakeru: Very popular Yoasobi map, it's the one mapset that introduced alternating for me. Spent a lot of retries in my first year of osu climbing all the low diffs, and to be honest even the high ones are quality.
Saigetsu: Again extremely fun gimmick mapset, if you love ar8 and 2009 grids, you're gonna like this one! Personally I really enjoy Bloxi's style, and this set is his best.
Yume Miru Mama ni Koi o Shite: funny mapset for hd/reading players, I hope to be able to hit the streams in the top diffs eventually.
Kigurumi Sungeki: another mapset that makes low ar fun to play. Thank you Mirash for this experience.
Cat Loving I love cats. Gazimal has a good balance of placing enough spicy patterns without making them unfun or too hard.
Romeo to Cinderella what a banger song and the map is good. I tried to map this cover of the song as well to no success, so I was pleasantly surprised to see it in the ranked section.
Hello: gimmick movement/light reading map I had lots of fun with. Just a nice playing experience (once you ignore the perfect overlaps)
x.u.: very nice to look at and very creative with how it follows the music.
