[Archived] Can't re-install osu!

Problem Details:
I realized my osu! folder was too voluminous so I decided to delete it and to re-install osu. So I deleted the folder and then I downloaded the "osu!install.exe" from the official site.
But when I open the .exe it doesn't work and this window appears.

Give this a try:

Do you have file extensions enabled? If you don't, you'd actually need to rename the file to "osu!" without the exe extension. Otherwise the full file name would be something like "osu!.exe.exe"

Can you try restarting your computer?
