Top OSU! players gone away?

It is true? Cookiezi, Silvia, Rucker, Hatsune Miku, and Apple gone away. I've seen their account not active since April. :cry:
I wish could like you to verify if it is true.

ItaOxy is gone too. But yes, they are leaved, but I don't think they never come back. Maybe just because they have some exam or something like that.

Or they're doing what most of the other osu! players do. Say they're going to leave, then come crawling back a month or 2 later. (I've seen this happen a lot ._.)

Reisen Udongein stopped playing, too. But most of them will probably come back in some time.
Except of Apple, he stopped completely I think.

Even my favorite mapper is gone too. ._. He leaved for rl but I hope he will come back sometimes to map a good map. Who I am talking about? He is Louis Cyphre. Probably the only one which I want to come back.

Real life issues, mnto and many more have also become inactive, though some really have decided to leave, oh well...

Also Hatsune Miku just slapped me in the Chinese sub-forum yesterday, so nope he's still around :3~

There's a lot more to life than Osu. It's normal that those pros who dedicated themselfes so much for this game would want a break from it all. It's expected some of them will come back but it's understandable those who won't, if they're being named and missed here as top players then they've probably hit their goal in osu.

Btw you have to think about how long they play. After the time they also lose their pleasure to play this.

Sometimes I also wanted to quit, but maybe a week later I come back because I saw a good map. And my goal isn't reached yet. ^^

Yes.
If you don't log in at least three (preferably 20) times a day, you have officially quit.

Old players will go and new players will rise. Old players may return, but you can't keep someone hooked to a game forever sometimes people just want change.

That said there are rumors of top players returning and even confirmations for some. A lot of the people who have left just have problems with real life/school or they just need a break to refuel their desire to play. Give it time.

many of the older superplayers quit, but behind them, a new wave of pros rises. they only need to get scores that get them the proper attenttion for their skills.
and in general, the amount of pros is the same. for every gone pro you'll find a new pro or an old player who just got really good.

Once a player takes a break from playing this game that doesn't mean that they quit. They're probably up to something and found no time to check on osu! anyhow and then people just starts to think ''Oh! He quit'' ''Oh! She'll never be back'' among others. Then suddenly, it becomes a really big issue. That's just stupid..
