[Archived] Lag spikes every song i play

Problem Details:
Every game i play i always get a lag spike and it causes me to miss and ive done my reasearch and i have tried everything. EVEN UNINSTALLING THE GAME. please help.

Disable SuperFetch.

[Windows]
Open task manager (CTRL+Shift+Escape) and sort by memory. If you have anything eating a significant amount of memory you may want to end the process (If you know you can do so safely.) Understand that stuttering is 99% of the time at fault of the PC running the game.

If you cannot find the program consuming your ram you may want to try hard restarting your PC after disabling any unnecessary startup programs.

[MacOS]
There is really two solutions when running with wine:

Restart, and select Quit all open applications, and making sure Osu is the only program open after running.

or

Update / Reinstall the version of wine you are using to run Osu.
