[Archived] OBS locks Osu to 30 fps

So I have been trying to stream Osu lately, and I have also tried in the past to no avail. It limits me to 30 fps, both in Osu menu and gameplay as well as the OBS Studio itself. The strangest part is this happens whether I am streaming/recording or not. Just having OBS open with Osu as a video source is enough to cause these effects. I've looked through a lot of the forums and they don't help me too much.

PC Specs:
Cpu: i5-6300HQ 2.30GHz
Ram: 8 GB
GPU: GeForce GTX 960m

Any help at all is appreciated!

Hello there

1) go to settings in obs, advanced, then set process priority to high.

2) make sure your computer isnt overheating this will cause lag spikes, mabye upgrade your fan system if possible.

3) make sure your cpu isnt going on 100%, if so close any unnecessary programs running in the background.

4) make sure to have atleast 10gb of storage in the drive u installed osu on.

5) disable any overlays like Steam, Discord or anyother FPS overlay program.

if none of the things above helped try to run your osu in compatibility mode
