[Archived] Osu frame rate and mouse input lag

Problem Details: anytime im away from home i bring my laptop with me to play on the go and when i try to Play it anywhere but home i start it u it starts at 60 frames then after 5 seconds it drops to 30 frames and my input lag with my mouse is 122-380ms its literally unplayable. i dont know what to do it doesnt do this when im home. also this happens with other games when im not home like all steam games too need major help.

You most likely have a power saving setting automatically enabled when your laptop is not plugged in. There are power options you can change through Windows, make sure none of those are set to save power.

If you have an nvidia graphics card (probably AMD too) there are also power management settings in the control panel. Make sure these are all set to maximum performance.

Also as a side note, the "ms" value displayed in the bottom right of the osu! window is frame times and not input lag.
