Note: Map backgrounds also black out in beatmap selection menu. Some go as far as to throw the "Missing beatmap background" warning. (osu file format v5)
Problem Details: Backgrounds go black due to unsifficient memory access (?)
Here's my speculaltions on the issue:
1. I like waifu2x a lot, and these 4k map background replacements use a lot of RAM thus kill my game fast. (It seems that osu! is caching this stuff in RAM for fast access.) Possibly the reason and that is my mistake for pushing the game too hard
2. My skin is too huge, wieghing in about 150MB uncompressed, thus chogging RAM. (Implying osu! also loads all these extra skin files from subfolders)
