Problem Details: So I recently updated my device drivers, and I don't know why but after I updated my device drivers osu seems not to open anymore. It was crashing as soon as I open it, but I got that fixed by reinstalling the game again, however when I use the latest stable release I get big lag inputs which never happened before the reinstall, so now im stuck with the fallback release. I'm just confused what's causing the problem. Also just in case I usually play osu!mania if that's important to the case.

You never have to reinstall, only repair. Doing so usually prevents any unnecessary headaches.

I assume you're able to switch release streams, try using Cutting-Edge and report back on if you experience any input lag or crashing

Did an error message appear when you were crashing for reinstallation?

What input device(s) are you using?

When you refer to updating device drivers, are you saying that you uninstalled and reinstalled the device via Device Manager or did you update the drivers using the manufacturers software, if any.

Does the device you mention happen to be a video card?

Okay, so I only reinstalled osu again because I tried repairing osu after opening it normally, which also doesn't work and when I do try to repair, after a few seconds when it finishes updating/repairing osu it just crashes. I don't know what the errors are since it only gives me a popup where it says, "osu crashed" and gives me two options: restart osu, and report an issue. Restarting it obviously didn't work and I thought I would report this on the forums to see if other players had this issue as well.

For your second point, "Were you release stream were you using that caused crashing?". I need more details on that since I didn't really understand it.

Finally the input device i'm using is a keyboard which is Razer Ornata Chroma.

What's the error message say when it crashed, if any?

Is there an error in Event Viewer upon crash, like this? (Under Windows Logs>Application)

When you get the message saying osu! has crashed, click on the crying girl and paste the contents here. You can also follow this guide to get the event viewer log if osu! crashes without any prompt.
