General> I would do a fade at the end starting from 01:13:616 - and cutting around 01:17:093 - I mean its fine the way it is but its kinda weird how one quarter of the song is still in the time line

Hard>
00:23:205 (1) - maybe better to make the same as 00:21:466 (1,1,1) - because nothing warrants a slider change?
00:45:151 - double blue tick stack feels kinda awkward ... maybe making a triple or a different rhythm... unsure. it does feel better as triple though
especially since the next rhythm right after 00:47:759 (2) - lands on the first red tick after the slider

Normal>
00:07:994 - so close to matching red anchor to the beat pocket
00:14:513 (1) - you can copy 00:07:560 (1) - theres a lot of different slider shapes
00:54:495 (1) - because its a normal it worries me that players will fail this spinner because of its length, I know it should be fine as long as ai can get 1000 score but.. idk.

Easy>
00:54:495 (1) - if this worried me in normal I am definitely worried about it in Easy

hi, m4m

MA stuff
Inconsistent values
Audio lead-in:
Easy: 1500
Normal: 0
Hard: 0

Hard
00:01:258 (4) - this slider starts at the really quiet sound, and ends at the loud sound (you follow this rhythm later on, so..)
00:09:081 (4,1,2) - spacing here isnt consistent, copy 00:09:298 (1,2) - and rotate it by 60 degree to form (4) circle
00:57:971 - you ignore such an important sound here
01:01:231 (4) - ^
01:06:663 - i would add a circle here and then start the spinner, better emphasising

Normal
00:00:607 (1) - whats the reason to straight slider here if the other ones are curved (00:02:345 (4,1,1) -)
00:45:803 (4) - NC (like you did 00:57:102 (1,1) - )
01:04:707 (4) - again, slider starts on nothing and you ignore such important sounds

Easy
00:54:495 (4,1) - fix blanket
01:04:273 - there is sound here and you can easily map this

The whole diff is just long slider based, so there is very little things to mod here

That's it, overall (especially on hard diff) rhythm isnt really good

01:01:231 (4) - ^ ^
01:06:663 - i would add a circle here and then start the spinner, better emphasising Fixed

Normal

00:45:803 (4) - NC (like you did 00:57:102 (1,1) - ) done
01:04:707 (4) - again, slider starts on nothing and you ignore such important sounds Same as Hard

Easy
00:54:495 (4,1) - fix blanket Well I wasn't thinking to make a blanket here

came for m4m, no need to accept if you don't like the map or whatever https://osu.ppy.sh/s/671566

General

  1. why is there inconsistency in audio lead-in between diffs? honestly better to add 1500 on all, so the map doesn't start that fast i guess
  2. i hope you can find cool hitsounds for this, since i am mostly missing claps and whistles which could fit perfectly with this song ><
Easy

  1. 00:01:258 (2) - shouldn't be this further? or (1) instead, there is very low spacing comparing to the whole diff
  2. 00:38:850 (2) - missing NC? patterns are like here 00:07:560 (1,1) - so i guess NC should be added for consistency
Normal

  1. 00:05:821 (1) - remove NC, this one shouldn't be here since you are doing long combos
  2. 00:30:810 (5,6) - weird flow you did here, you might wanna ctrl+g on slider then move (6) to fix the distance, but up to you, this is nothing important
  3. 00:53:408 (3,4) - this sounds really weird, they don't follow nothing... i really think you should move them to 00:53:191 (3,4) - and you can even add another note on next red tick, before spinner
Hard

  1. i know you wanted to make settings balanced, but these are kinda high for just a hard diff, at least HP can be reduced
  2. 00:19:076 (4) - you should care about this, it kinda depends of skin i guess, but it is touching my HP bar, maybe consider moving it a bit down
  3. 00:53:408 (3,4,5) - neither sure about this here, it is not overmapped actually, but... i am not really sure if a triple is fine anywhere before spinner
i love this kind of mapsets, simple but cute º^º good luckkk oh well just noticed i could do a spanish mod, but whatever lol

[Easy]
  1. To be honest, I find the begining quite random in terms of time-distance equality, and it might quite look random for new players. So I think that would be better to use simplified rhythm pattern, like for instance, using reversed slider, to giving a consistant time-distance.
Why not making something like this instead: https://puu.sh/xQcdN/9b80673c0e.png ? That would more friendly for new player.
  2. 00:21:901 (1) - Same from here. From here 00:21:901 (1,2,3) - , you are using a 3/2 spacing and then here: 00:23:205 (3,4) - you're having a 1/1 gap. That might look weird to play for a beginner. Consider that your map should be obvious to play for the new players, cause if you're changing too much the distance between each notes, it might confuse them, and lead them to a fail. Even if the Ranking Criteria, it says that the Easy diff should respect a time-distance equality.
  3. 01:04:925 (3,4) - Same here, you're using a consistant rhythm, during all the previous notes, and then you're suddenly having a blank while it could be mapped. So I would suggest you to make something like this: https://puu.sh/xQcF6/203e31470b.png
That would be more representative of the rhythm you want to use.
Beside the time-distance equality here, I think it's good. It just should be taken in consideration, since it's an important issue of the map, due to it's randomness.

[Normal]
  1. 00:00:607 (1) - From here -during all the song-, you're using the same pattern over and over, it might be somehow boring for a player to repeat the same thing during few seconds. So why not adding diversity, to make it more enjoyable to the player. I don't think aesthetics will be a problem for you, since the patterns you had here are very clean! For instance, you can use 1/2 sliders, or triples circles (don't use it everywhere, or it could exhaust the player fast).
  2. 00:07:560 (1) - On this slider, you're focusing on the synth in the background, but you're skipping too much beat, and since you're focused on a beat since the beginning, it might confuse the player, since the rhythm on this song is pretty hard to catch. So why not making an alternative of this that could somehow respect the synth and the main background beat? (applies it on all the other sliders)
  3. 00:45:369 - I think you should add a beat here, since this is important to making a consistant pattern here. Since you're mapping all the 1/1 beats from here, then why not mapping it too? By adding a circle.
  4. 01:03:186 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - Same here, the time-distance equality makes the thing too random to be played by a new player! Consider simplifying this rhythm.
Same as before, use more diversity in your patterns, and be careful of time-distance equality!

[Hard]
  1. 00:00:607 (1,2,3,4) - From here, as previous diffs, you should take care about diversity. Since you're making an Hard diff, you could be more creative, and making diverse pattern. Let me share you different patterns that could be use in the difficulty.
    https://puu.sh/xQdhv/32d6f9347b.png /// https://puu.sh/xQdiT/75fa8ac783.png /// https://puu.sh/xQdk3/833e0fdb09.png /// etc...
  2. 00:47:759 (2,3,4,5) - About time-distance equality, you should be careful here. You're mapping different instrument in the same pattern... You're mapping synth in the back ground here: 00:48:193 (3) - but just before on this note: 00:47:759 (2) - you're mapping the drum, and then here: 00:48:737 (4,5) - you're mapping the drum again. Try to get focused on one important beat, not different, to avoid confusion in player's mind.
That's all for me, I think that with some work, you'll be able to make something really neat!
Keep working on it! Good luck!
Sieg
hello

General
  1. Timing is a bit late at the beginning. Imo something like bpm: 138 offset: 588 will work better.
  2. Hitsounds are way too monotonous and noisy for chosen music \ music line to map. I suggest you to experiment with soft sets\varying or even custom ones. - This is not particular suggestion because this can be done in so many ways depending on your preferences, tho contact me if you interested in some custom stuff.
  3. 01:06:663 (1) - Maybe start it from 01:08:401 - will reflect music part better.
Easy
  1. The only issue I see here is drastically unbalanced difficulty level. While it understandable idea with lines mapped it preformed on this difficulty worse than on Normal and Hard, the difference is almost 6x times in intensity for parts with this long repeat-sliders and there is nothing in music that actually justifies this.
  2. ^My suggestion here is to split this repeat sliders, make them as single 3 beat long instead of repeat 8 will solve the problem.
Normal
  1. 00:41:240 (4) - Maybe make it last until 00:42:109 (5) or 00:41:892 (4) to reflect this increasing woooosh sound.
  2. 00:43:196 (3) - 00:59:710 (1) - That's similar to Easy, intensity is suddenly dies here, compare with 00:28:202 (1,2,3,4,5) - where you varying play-rhythm. Imo you should try to follow with what you've started and vary rhythm (increase intense) here also.
Hard
  1. 00:48:737 (4,5) - That's actually interesting, why you decided to suddenly switch to drum line here, there is no similar spots and you don't even map drum line either anywhere in the song.
There is nothing really wrong or anything that worth deep modding currently. Everything looks neat in terms of chosen representation, but tbh I personally feel that there is so much room left for additional difficulty to represent more layers/variety that song brings.

i found there're quite few reliable sources (still not official) for the metadata http://vgmdb.net/album/682 or https://www.sonymusicshop.jp/m/item/ite ... A000000102 and what ive got from them is:
the artist should be 東野美紀 (Higashino Miki in romanization), title is kind of inconsistent among the websites but as long as the song is originally japanese the title shouldn't be the translated one. so 新たなる旅立ち ~ 始まりのテーマ ~ (ネームエントリーBGM) and Aratanaru Tabidachi ~ Hajimari no Theme ~ (Name Entry BGM) in romanization are most accurate metadata i could say.
[Hard]
00:20:370 (4) - probably could make a geometry sharp for cleaner pattern visually. https://delisha.s-ul.eu/Qtt37yw9
00:59:283 (7) - finish on the sliderend (goes to all diffs)
01:04:718 (5) - 01:04:935 (1,2) - would better separate them in patterning wise, only this seems to be musically off in this diff to me.
[Normal]
00:41:240 (4) - end this slider 1/2 tick earlier (00:41:892 - ) the slider looks like following the sound which goes higher but it ended up being the sliderend following nothing, extending it by 1/2 tick is also cool that the way that catches the sound quite accurately, instead of the new section won't have a clickable object at the beginning.
00:42:327 - don't really know why you started undermapping from here, 2/1 rhythm for 10s would be kind of boring since it's not easy diff. coulda added more notes around, 00:46:240 -, 00:48:848 - for example.
[Easy]
00:28:414 (1) - spacing is slightly off, i mean the space of the editor screen is cramped but 00:27:327 (3) - still can move closer to 00:28:414 (1) - while the spacing is consistent.

yea call me back
