Why is it that I have to verify my account almost every second time I want to play the game? It's getting pretty tiresome, I'm sure not only for me.

I think this happens if you are connecting from multiple locations or your network IP changes frequently, maybe someone else could give a better explanation about this. It happens to me too, not so often like it happens to you tho.
