[Archived] Osu having lag spikes??

So only like few days ago
osu just randomly started having lag spikes for no reason.
It's been like this for some days now and i dont know how to fix it.

I have a good computer and never had this issue before. (i also always had only steam,ts3 and chrome open when playing.)
Sometimes a simple restart helps but after like 20mins of playing i start to feel small lags.
Any tips to fix this?

My osu is on Latest stable build.

Happens to most of us. You are happily fruit picking when suddenly a 10-1000ms spike appear for just 0.1 secs. Bye fruit picking.

Also I suffer spikes trying to select a song. The game suddenly freeze for some seconds. It's frustating. I deleted most of my maps to reduce it and nothing happens. I think that many people reporting the same issue is not a player problem.

I also have the same issue, and compatibility mode gives the infamous Can't find the name of Intel ICD OpenGL driver thing and i have to manually change the settings file to reopen the game.
