Hey again Roger :3
Doing the things in my queue out of order for no reason again lol
GeneralConsider making another set of difficulties for a different number of keys. There is already a 4k set which was ranked last December (2016).
Apologies to contradict the person who came and had a look before I did, but there have not been many maps below OD 6 that have been ranked, and none recently. Thus I suggest a general change to something similar to this:
Beginner: OD 7 HP 6
Basic: OD 7 HP 6.5-7
Normal OD 7.5 HP 7

Obligatory hitsounding reminder... don't forget to do it at some point. In the meantime, hitsound volumes normally lie somewhere between 20% and 40% for mania, so consider turning it down from 100%. c:
Other general modding things for note placementParticularly with the harder(?) difficulties, there are two things to consider: pitch relevancy (PR) and also emphasis. PR is essentially mapping to reflect a change in pitch, so if, for example, the lead starts high and ends low, then you might want to map from starting in the right hand and finishing with the left, much like on a piano.
Secondly, emphasis is important. Mania maps are more often a reflection/accompaniment of the song, rather than an addition. In this case, because there is actually very little going on in the audio, it is possible to map note-for-note with the audio. So when you hear so distinct notes, map two notes. Sometimes the doubles in the maps don't come in the right place, so you may want to take this into account.
That being said, I will point out some places where doubles (I feel) should and shouldn't come, but not all, so don't forget to check through. (You'll have to think about it entirely yourself for PR, otherwise my mod would quickly just become instructions on what to map and precisely where, and I don't want that.)

BeginnerBeing such an easy map, the only thing I can really provide is suggestions.
How about
this for the start? (or something similar)
00:24:774 (24774|2,24774|1) - Move to columns 0 and 3?
BasicCheck AIMod in particular on this diff. There are a few unsnapped notes.
- 00:00:775 (775|0,775|2,1150|3,1150|2) - These don't need to be doubles, as you'd end up overemphasising a single note on the piano.
- 00:02:649 (2649|0) - Move to col 1?
- 00:03:024 (3024|0) - Remove (overemphasis imo)
- 00:06:024 (6024|2) - Double
- 00:07:524 (7524|0) - ^
- Avoid things like 00:08:274 (8274|1,8837|1). The minijacks can be extremely difficult for newer players, especially on the 1/4s (blue lines).
- 00:09:024 (9024|2) - Double
- 00:10:337 (10337|3) - I reckon this should be the long note (LN) instead of 00:10:524 (10524|1).
- 00:12:024 (12024|0) - You might want this to be a double as well, though not really important.
- 00:14:649 (14649|3) - Move to col 2?
- 00:21:774 (21774|2) - Not a fan of LNs this short.
The final section feels a little messy in general... May I suggest redoing this bit?
NormalGenerally speaking, the Basic mod will mostly apply here as well, since both diffs are similarly mapped and of similar difficulty.
[*]00:00:775 (775|0,775|2,1150|2,1150|1,1525|0,1525|3) - Again, doubles are overkill imo.
[*]00:03:024 (3024|3,3024|1,3587|1,3587|0,4149|1,4149|3,4524|0,4524|2) - ^
[*]00:12:024 (12024|0,12024|1,12024|3) - A double at most, I reckon. After this point though, to differentiate from Basic, you could map in doubles, to reflect the number of distinct notes you hear, which you mostly do already.
[*]00:24:024 (24024|1,24024|3) - Single so that 00:24:774 (24774|0,24774|2) can be made a triple, then extend all to 00:31:524.
Feels like a short mod. But then again, it's a short map. In any case, best of luck bud!
...ahem.And of course I'm going to do what I normally do with you an ask you to have a go at modding
my map. :3
