hi you're not from my queue but here's a banner anyways

m4m stuff

[General]
  1. You don't have a storyboard, so disabled Widescreen Support on your Normal and Hard difficulties.
  2. Your mp3 bitrate is too high, compress it to I think it's 192kbps (double check to be sure.)
  3. Make sure to hitsound your map before you go to a bn or something with it.
  4. 02:08:246 - Dunno how I feel about this kiai in the map, and it doesn't start on a white tick either.
  5. If you plan on ranking this map, you should consider mapping an Easy. For a spread to be rankable it has to have at least one difficulty under 2 stars.. and your Normal is 2.09.
[Normal]
  1. 00:14:096 (1) - no nc
  2. 00:15:296 (3) - no nc
  3. 00:20:096 (2) - nc here not 00:19:496 (1) here
  4. 00:21:896 (2) - this repeat slider ends on a powerful vocal, I reccomend changing it to a 1/1 slider and a circle instead. With that, you can also start a new nc 00:22:496 where there should be one
  5. 00:23:396 (4,1) - Fix the overlap here, doesn't look good
  6. 00:23:696 (5) - nc here not 00:24:296 (1) here
  7. 00:24:896 (3) - nc
  8. 00:23:696 (1,1,2,3,4) - I reccomend changing your rhythm to this so that you catch the sound in the background and pick back up with the second repeater starting on the vocal
  9. 00:29:096 (4,2) - maybe try to overlap these a bit better? I know with the 1.0 ds isn't not possible to make them completely stack on each other but try to make it look better
  10. 00:56:096 (3,2) - why not space these out or blanket them or something, the overlap is meh
  11. 00:59:096 (2) - move this to the right to make a double blanket?
  12. 00:58:496 (1,1) - with that last change, stack these heads on each other
  13. 01:04:196 (1) - maybe change this into a 1/2 and a circle instead of a 1/1? That way you have the vocal/ strong guitar noise clickable and it matches with the next part.
  14. 01:04:196 (1) - starting here maybe try a rhythm like this? I think it sounds nice but I'm not sure if it's too hard, your call
  15. 01:12:296 (1) - no nc, nc here 01:12:896 (2) instead
  16. 01:14:096 (3,4,5) - here you have no nc for this part but earlier 00:21:296 (1,2) you nc'd this sound. Try to stay consistent
  17. 01:16:496 (3) - nc, no nc here 01:17:096 (1)
  18. 01:17:696 (3) - nc
  19. 01:22:796 (4,1,2) - overlaps here are meh, fix them
  20. 01:52:496 (1) - ok starting here there's probably nc problems like in the other sections but I'm tired of doing an nc mod so just make sure you fix them
[Hard]
  1. 00:08:096 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1) - try to fix the overlaps on some of this somehow, it looks cluttered when you're using up the space in succession but not overlapping things correctly
  2. 00:11:696 (1,2) - switch these
  3. 00:20:696 (4,2) - give these more space
  4. 00:24:896 (1,3) - maybe blanket these?
  5. 00:30:296 (2,3,4,5) - spacing here is kinda big for a hard
  6. 00:39:896 (3,4) - space these more?
  7. 00:40:346 (4,2) - idk about this overlap fix if you don't like it but it's kinda whatever imo
  8. 00:40:646 (1,2) - switch these
  9. 00:43:496 (1) - no nc
  10. 00:44:696 (2) - x227 y340
  11. 00:49:496 (2,3,1) - why not br ing all this up and stack 00:48:896 (1,1)
  12. 00:52:496 (1,2) - spacing here is pretty big
  13. 01:08:546 (2,4) - stack
  14. 01:09:146 (4,3) - this overlap should probably go, idk how you'd fix it tbh
  15. 01:16:496 (3) - nc 01:17:096 (1) no nc 01:17:696 (3) nc 01:18:296 (2) no nc 01:18:896 (1) nc
  16. 01:26:996 (1,2) - space these out a lil bit
  17. 01:36:596 (3,5) - fix overlap
  18. Check for NC consistencies from here on out
  19. 01:55:496 (5) - maybe move this to the left as far as it can go and then stack 01:55:946 (1) on 01:54:896 (3)
  20. 02:01:496 (3) - x171 y194 and stack 02:00:896 (1,1) maybe?
  21. 02:08:296 (1) - move to the left to keep in line with the other 2

[Insane]
  1. Make sure your nc's here are consistent with the other diffs
I'd finish modding the Insane but tbh I'm kinda sick of the song lol. Make sure your nc's are consistent like I said and that your overlaps are pleasnt visually. Good luck!

m4m stuff

[General]
  1. You don't have a storyboard, so disabled Widescreen Support on your Normal and Hard difficulties. Aight this magic thing turns on by itself lmao
  2. Your mp3 bitrate is too high, compress it to I think it's 192kbps (double check to be sure.) Want to change this right before bn check
  3. Make sure to hitsound your map before you go to a bn or something with it. yeah hitsound is wip
  4. 02:08:246 - Dunno how I feel about this kiai in the map, and it doesn't start on a white tick either. I did it for the stars on the side to show up at that note, i'll maybe change if it gets pointed out alot
  5. If you plan on ranking this map, you should consider mapping an Easy. For a spread to be rankable it has to have at least one difficulty under 2 stars.. and your Normal is 2.09. I changed CS to make it less than 2* since i cant find a way to make an easy that fits
[Normal]
  1. 00:14:096 (1) - no nc
  2. 00:15:296 (3) - no nc
  3. 00:20:096 (2) - nc here not 00:19:496 (1) here
  4. 00:21:896 (2) - this repeat slider ends on a powerful vocal, I reccomend changing it to a 1/1 slider and a circle instead. With that, you can also start a new nc 00:22:496 where there should be one Yeah had to change the pattern quite a bit thought
  5. 00:23:396 (4,1) - Fix the overlap here, doesn't look good Changed with above
  6. 00:23:696 (5) - nc here not 00:24:296 (1) here
  7. 00:24:896 (3) - nc
  8. 00:23:696 (1,1,2,3,4) - I reccomend changing your rhythm to this so that you catch the sound in the background and pick back up with the second repeater starting on the vocal good catch
  9. 00:29:096 (4,2) - maybe try to overlap these a bit better? I know with the 1.0 ds isn't not possible to make them completely stack on each other but try to make it look better the note's kinda dissapeared already by that time but sure
  10. 00:56:096 (3,2) - why not space these out or blanket them or something, the overlap is meh mhm
  11. 00:59:096 (2) - move this to the right to make a double blanket? good idea
  12. 00:58:496 (1,1) - with that last change, stack these heads on each other
  13. 01:04:196 (1) - maybe change this into a 1/2 and a circle instead of a 1/1? That way you have the vocal/ strong guitar noise clickable and it matches with the next part.yeah makes sense
  14. 01:04:196 (1) - starting here maybe try a rhythm like this? I think it sounds nice but I'm not sure if it's too hard, your call I'll leave it like this, its immediately back to the white ticks
  15. 01:12:296 (1) - no nc, nc here 01:12:896 (2) instead
  16. 01:14:096 (3,4,5) - here you have no nc for this part but earlier 00:21:296 (1,2) you nc'd this sound. Try to stay consistent
  17. 01:16:496 (3) - nc, no nc here 01:17:096 (1)
  18. 01:17:696 (3) - nc
  19. 01:22:796 (4,1,2) - overlaps here are meh, fix them changed patterns sideways looks better now
  20. 01:52:496 (1) - ok starting here there's probably nc problems like in the other sections but I'm tired of doing an nc mod so just make sure you fix them
Aight, i'll get on it to get the nc's consistant, never really given that much thought, just did when i felt like it
thanks for the mod, i'll update my reply for hard later i gotta run ;-;

So after re-doing the nc's in hard the mod didnt show the correct notes ;-; So what i did is read through what you said briefly and concluded that i should pay more attention to overlaps and such so i'll comb through my hard a few more times to fix all those weird overlaps

map for m4m: https://osu.ppy.sh/s/496609
Insane
general: plz dont overuse overlaps, seemslike it gets really hard to read it sometimes.

00:39:296 (1,2) - no slider here? just 3 notes maybe
00:47:546 (6) - single note instead of slider? 00:47:696 - this sound feels really mediocre for me
00:48:671 (1) - no nc like here 00:53:246 (2,3,4,5,6,7) -
01:02:846 (6,7,8) - no stack plz
01:33:896 (8) - nc
01:33:896 (8) - make it stacked maybe?
02:08:296 (1) - make something like this maybe? http://puu.sh/qUYr1/f15ffde1e4.jpg

Light insane
00:06:296 (1,2) - (1) is not straight ahead from (2)'s sliderend. its really distracting tbh
00:13:646 (2,3) - ^
00:20:096 (1,2) - ^
00:37:946 (3,4) - ^
00:24:746 (1) - i know u were leading by vocals, but u got pretty much palpable db here: 00:24:896 - tho i dont really can to suggest anything here, its up to you, but that moment is controvertional.
00:42:296 (4) - s-end on db, i'd probably replace it with slider and note to follow the next jumps.
01:23:696 (5) - nc
01:29:996 (6) - ^
02:08:296 (1,2,3,4) - just 4 straight notes maybe? sliders are kinda meh here.

Hard
CS 3.4 maybe?
00:20:696 (2,3) - dont really like this pattern change

Cant really suggest anything more regarding such low sr diffs. Thats it, even tho i dont really like such fast maps, your mapping is quite consistent.

00:39:296 (1,2) - no slider here? just 3 notes maybe I wanted (3) to be clickable and because of consistancy sake i made it a slider, my other option to keep it as a slider is to make a kick slider, but for right now i'll keep it like this
00:47:546 (6) - single note instead of slider? 00:47:696 - this sound feels really mediocre for me that synth sound is pretty loud for at least a bit longer, i think having it as a slider feels more natural
00:48:671 (1) - no nc like here 00:53:246 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - 00:48:596 - do you hear that guitar change at 00:48:596 - , that's what i am trying to indicate with the nc
01:02:846 (6,7,8) - no stack plz it slightly unstacks during gameplay
01:33:896 (8) - nc but the pattern'll break up
01:33:896 (8) - make it stacked maybe? stacked with what?
02:08:296 (1) - make something like this maybe? http://puu.sh/qUYr1/f15ffde1e4.jpg fair enough

Light insane
00:06:296 (1,2) - (1) is not straight ahead from (2)'s sliderend. its really distracting tbh hahaha
00:13:646 (2,3) - ^ If you look closely its not a straight slider
00:20:096 (1,2) - ^ If you look closely i see that you enjoy memes
00:37:946 (3,4) - ^ If you look closely that is not the point of the note anyway, its to hug the kickslider that comes later
00:24:746 (1) - i know u were leading by vocals, but u got pretty much palpable db here: 00:24:896 - tho i dont really can to suggest anything here, its up to you, but that moment is controvertional. yeah
00:42:296 (4) - s-end on db, i'd probably replace it with slider and note to follow the next jumps. hey wa de should be clickable imo the thing that becomes before it is kinda too insignificant to be clickable
01:23:696 (5) - nc I'm re-doing nc's for this diff anyway
01:29:996 (6) - ^ I'm re-doing nc's for this diff anyway
02:08:296 (1,2,3,4) - just 4 straight notes maybe? sliders are kinda meh here. Mind you its a light insane, so making it all clickable might be too much for whom the diff is aimed for

Hard
CS 3.4 maybe? cs is fine, I like my circles like i like my women
00:20:696 (2,3) - dont really like this pattern change Maybe elaborate on why and what you would suggest doing, i kinda did something, but that's like completely unrelated to what you said

02:03:896 (1,1,1) - i think these should be either stacked or overlaped due to flow and melody.

Updated my mod.

00:50:096 (1,1) - yer blanket game's weak bud
01:22:346 (3,1) - triggered by overlap
01:56:396 (1,2) - could move 2 to the right a bit so that it looks like a straight line kinda? (example)
02:02:696 (2,1) - why stack this? looks bad imo
Hard
00:14:546 (2,3,4) - this could be more of a straight line if tht makes sense, it looks bettr that way
00:17:696 (1,1) - make it so that the slider end of 00:18:896 (1) - lines up with the slider body of 00:17:696 (1) - for better a e s t h e t i c

Hey from #modreqs :3/

[Shakpaaaaa]
  1. 00:11:696 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - Patten plays nice but it's kinda un-neat right now and there are overlaps. 00:11:696 (1,2,3,4) - On these 4, I'd say you should keep the spacing consistent due to the fact it's in a line.
  2. 00:18:896 (1,2,3) - the way the slider (3) is positioned here kinda ruins the intended symmetry of this pattern imo because of how the sliderend comes too close to circle (2). As a suggestion, you could blanket slider (3) over circle (2). This does require you to lower the angle of the jumps, and means the slider is further from the next pattern, but that can be moved closer like this maybe? http://puu.sh/qWRMN/fd887c27f5.jpg it's up to you.
  3. 00:24:596 (6,7,1) - this pattern is very sudden and awkward. Not sure if intentional or not.
  4. 00:26:096 (1,2) - Probably worth spacing these sliders apart as (2) doesn't have enough impact imo.
  5. 00:33:296 (1,2) - You might want to let these sliders overlap, for clearer reading.
  6. 00:34:646 (3,5) - space these apart, there's an unwanted overlap.
  7. 00:35:396 (8,1) - I'd suggest you space these more for emphasis.
  8. 01:02:996 (8,1) - more unwanted overlap.
  9. 01:04:496 (1) - don't see why you put this as a slider. the way it overlaps over 01:04:796 (1) - looks potentially confusing, especially with sliderends.
  10. 01:05:546 (5) - looks like it continues from the previous jumps. If you stack it under (4), it'll be much easier to tell there's a pause.
  11. 01:51:496 (1,2,3,4,5) - might want to start this pattern with a slider to prepare the player for offbeat 1/3rds
  12. 01:58:496 (5,7) - stack these?
  13. 02:03:896 (1,1,1) - might wanna prepare them for this too with a slider
  14. 02:09:096 (5,6) - should probably finish on bigger spacing than this.
Fun difficulty! :D

[Insane]
  1. 00:05:696 (1,2,3) - this should have a more significant spacing difference to make the timing clearer.
  2. 00:49:946 (3,1) - this jump might be surprising.
  3. 00:50:996 (3) - there is very little emphasis here using a reverse slider.
  4. 01:09:296 (1,2,3,4) - this is gonna be a lot harder than you might think.
  5. 01:51:496 (1,2,3,4,5) - same as the top diff
This diff seems pretty solid!

[Hard]
  1. 00:39:746 (2,4,2) - overlap
ok, I really couldn't think of anything else to say

[Normal]
  1. Lower diffs like Easy/Normal need to be in a very straightforward line. 00:10:496 (1,2,1) - here, the first slider looks like it leads straight into the second one. That confuses new players. I'm afraid this difficulty is full of stuff like this. 00:12:296 (2,3,1,2) - looks like (3) goes into (2). 00:12:896 (1,2,3) - looks like (1) goes into (3). This difficulty needs a lot of work on that.
Hope the mod helps! :3/

  3. 00:24:596 (6,7,1) - this pattern is very sudden and awkward. Not sure if intentional or not. plays fine imo, i tried to make it look less weird with a nc already, but i'll see fi i change it if more people say something
  4. 00:26:096 (1,2) - Probably worth spacing these sliders apart as (2) doesn't have enough impact imo. right especially with the finish hitsound
  5. 00:33:296 (1,2) - You might want to let these sliders overlap, for clearer reading. i figured i'd get comments for this
  6. 00:34:646 (3,5) - space these apart, there's an unwanted overlap. did something
  7. 00:35:396 (8,1) - I'd suggest you space these more for emphasis. not really but did it anyway
  8. 01:02:996 (8,1) - more unwanted overlap. no i wanted these to overlap, but it did look kinda messy, s i tidied up a bit around
  9. 01:04:496 (1) - don't see why you put this as a slider. the way it overlaps over 01:04:796 (1) - looks potentially confusing, especially with sliderends. i knew that people would maybe not like it, but i like it myself, what i did instead is stack it under the start of the slider
  10. 01:05:546 (5) - looks like it continues from the previous jumps. If you stack it under (4), it'll be much easier to tell there's a pause. yeah
  11. 01:51:496 (1,2,3,4,5) - might want to start this pattern with a slider to prepare the player for offbeat 1/3rds its fine its a 5* but i did add all nc's
  12. 01:58:496 (5,7) - stack these? nah its fine
  13. 02:03:896 (1,1,1) - might wanna prepare them for this too with a slider I used nc's to indicate that, also making it less harsh on drain
  14. 02:09:096 (5,6) - should probably finish on bigger spacing than this. warning, highly concentrated pp in the end
Fun difficulty! :D

[Insane]
  1. 00:05:696 (1,2,3) - this should have a more significant spacing difference to make the timing clearer. did something
  2. 00:49:946 (3,1) - this jump might be surprising. it is
  3. 00:50:996 (3) - there is very little emphasis here using a reverse slider. i tried doing that with hitsound instead
  4. 01:09:296 (1,2,3,4) - this is gonna be a lot harder than you might think. yeah
  5. 01:51:496 (1,2,3,4,5) - same as the top diff nc's
This diff seems pretty solid!

[Hard]
  1. 00:39:746 (2,4,2) - overlap pretty sure its readable nicely though
ok, I really couldn't think of anything else to say

[Normal]
This difficulty needs a lot of work on that.

aight, that seems fair enough, never knew, very good tip
Hope the mod helps! :3/
thhanks a lot!!
