[General Thoughts]
I've played through the map, but I forgot to record the replay :x. It was a good song and relaxing map.

That said, I think a lot of the weird sliders don't look strange. I'll cover the first few sliders I notice, but my comments apply to all of the sliders in the map. More importantly, I thought your map wasn't fun to play. I explain why I think this way below, but it's not because the map itself is easy.

[Specifics]
00:01:023 (1,2,1,2,1,2) - I think a rhythm like this would match the song better:


00:07:467 (1,1) - I think this would work better.


00:07:911 - Not a really big fan of the normal hitsounds are a bit loud in this section.

00:09:911 (1) - Slightly curved sliders like these can be made using only 3 points:

(The 2 slider is identical to the one you have right now, except it only uses 3 points.)

00:11:022 (2,3) - Switch these two (and adjust slider accordingly):


00:11:688 (1) - If you use over 3 points, the slider stops being circular. This is useful for making interesting curved shapes, but it looks strange when you have a parabola shaped slider.

00:12:577 (3,4) - A bit overmapped. I would only put things at 00:12:577 (white tick), 00:12:910 (blue tick), and 00:13:243 (red tick).

00:14:132 (2,4) - A bit overmapped.

00:14:354 (3) - Slider doesn't look that great. It also feels too slow for this part of the song.

00:17:020 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - A bit overmapped.

00:20:575 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4) - A bit overmapped.

00:22:353 (1) - Hitsounds are a bit too quiet in this section.

00:28:574 (3,4) - A bit overmapped.

00:32:129 (6,7) - Very rarely do you want long sliders that end on blue ticks, just to have a second slider start right after - especially in a slow song.

00:35:461 (3,2) - 00:36:794 (2) - Triple stacked circles would work better here.

00:41:905 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - Artificially adding in build up that doesn't correspond to anything in the music takes away from the music.

00:50:125 (1,2,3,1,2,1,2) - This is why I think your map isn't very fun to play. This is a very significant difficulty spike, and you shouldn't have something like this until a "climax point" in the song. It makes the important parts of your song boring in comparison. You should make this part a lot less intense.

01:05:011 (1,2,3,4) - (Continued from above) Yeah, so the most exciting part of the song - the part you even selected as Kiai mode - is boring compared to the previous section. You should make this part a lot more intense, and gradually drop down the intensity starting at 01:33:450.

02:30:328 (1) - Same as above, you have a stream leading into another Kiai section, only for the Kiai section to be slow and boring in comparison.

02:37:438 (6) - Creating a really long slow slider creates a dip in the difficulty curve, which you want to avoid in an intense part of the song.

03:34:316 (1) - Again with the difficulty spike right before the Kiai section, and dropping off right as you get to it. This is the last Kiai section, so it is where you want the climax of your map to be.

04:43:636 (1) - Don't have a spinner going after the song ends.

Here's my end of the m4m :)

Your slider velocity just feels slow to me. Especially in the first kiai part it feels like im moving my mouse fast to hit the hit circles but then the sliders just move slow and it takes away from the experience.

The difficulty is all over the place. A lot of the song feels like a 3.5 to 3.75 star song but then there are jumps that make it feel like the 4.6 star song that it is. I think the difficulty should overall be more consistent.

I think if you want this to be harder overall you should set a distance spacing (Hold alt and scroll to change it) that's larger than the one you have now. For some notes you simply ignore the distance spacing, which is what is raising your difficulty rating. Instead, you should use a more consistent, higher distance spacing and then from there you can ignore it sometimes if you ever want a jump in your song.

You'll notice that at 01:39:227, the 3 hit circles have varying distances despite being all 1/2 note away from each other. Why? There's no reason for a jump there. You have the 3rd and 4th notes of the combo slightly farther away (Technically a jump because they ignore your 1.0x distance spacing), and the 4th and 5th notes right next to each other

Instead of doing that, set the distance spacing to something larger and have those kind of notes just be the correct distance away from each other. Not only would this make your song more consistent in difficulty, it would also make it look better aesthetically. After that, you can place jumps wherever you feel necessary (which to be fair, seems to be a lot of your song)

I can't really find any specific problems with notes, just that your song's difficulty varies so much. There are some really easy sections, then some very challenging sections (such as at 02:46:325). Work on making the difficulty of your song more consistent throughout. This way, it's more fun; people who are looking for a 4.6 star map don't have to sit through chunks that feel like they barely qualify as 4 stars.

All of this being said, good luck! Overall the beatmap was pretty fun if a tad boring at some parts. The song selection is definitely good :)

Ok, first of said in most maps or rather when looking to map: Consistency is key.
The more consistend your map is the more beautiful it look and it's more fun to play

I will list some mistakes made which repeat in the map
I'll allso give some general tips
here it goes


  • General:
    Ar 9.6 is too high for an Insane map reduce it too Ar9
    Also the HP is way to low don't be shy. It#s not the purpose of a map to pass it with 60% just because iit's HP 3.5 y'know
    00:09:022 (5,1,2,1,1) - also this ... there are 4 NC's (New Combo's) making more and more NC's make the HP drain more which is not good
    just try to make combos like 8-12 notes long and only do fancy NC's at times like 04:24:084 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) -

    Mapping:
    00:04:578 (1,2) - why are these for example not as spaced as 00:01:024 (1,2) - though the same sound is heard
    using different spacing over and over again confuses the human brain so we percieve it as not so beautiful
    00:01:246 (2,2,2) - you could make them the same slider instead of always greating a new one and just shift the copy one
    again to have that cconsistency
    00:07:467 (1,2,3,4,5) - this again spacing problem
    00:07:467 (1,3) - also this ... try to avoid notes overlaping for the most part. It just doesn't look nice
    00:11:688 (1,2,3) - spacing. when those 3 are played fast and have that spacing then you have to make 00:12:910 (4) - further away because it's not played as fast to achieve this you could use distance snap and just leave it at some value like 1.5
    00:12:910 (4) - starting a slider on a blue tick is in most cases a bad idea do it like 00:10:799 (1) - with reverse sliders
    00:21:686 (1,2,3) - for this section the notes you hear here in the song are only
    Why map anything else in there
    Tip: If your not sure what notes to place play the song on 25% and listen to it closely

    00:24:130 (2,2,1,4) - look at those silder shapes all of them are completly different try making them a bit the same and together with correct spaccing it will look beautiful
    for example when 00:25:908 (1,4) - are not so curvy make 00:24:130 (2,2) - also less curvy
    00:26:796 (4,5) - again some overlap that should've been avoided
    00:37:239 (3,4,5) - looking at this 00:37:239 (3,4) - have the same spacing so do it with 00:37:461 (5) - too
    also 00:37:461 (5) - simple curved silder are always created with 3 point. No need for more if you don't want to have fancy shapes
    00:39:016 (2,3,4) - try not to start slider on a red tick do it like
    You can see all the slider start on a white tick placing them on red tick makes the be played awkward

    00:51:236 (3) - this SV (Slider Velocity) change is way too únexpected. If you have consistent spacing before you could then just increase the spacing to show that there is also a SV change
    Tip: when parts get slower/faster make the spacing closer/further

    00:52:347 (6,7) - for this for example you could use blankets/blanket combos https://osu.ppy.sh/wiki/Formation_Techn ... ket_Combos
    Tip: line up the approach circle with the border of the whole slider for example http://puu.sh/olwYh/63b8ede7d2.jpg

    01:17:675 (1,2,3,4) - if you wann do jumps just increase the DS (Distance snap) by 0.5 for those 4 notes but don't do something crazy like that
    01:28:562 (2) - can't hear something like that in the song. avoid placing notes to sounds that don't exist

    As said those mistakes repeat over the whole map
    If you regard the tips I'm sure your next map will be much better
    You'll just have to get some experience in mapping ;)

First off, I'll start with the AiBot suggestions that are left!~

IMO, this song could really improve from a higher slider velocity, though ultimately, that's your decision to make. :)
2) I believe that the pattern at 00:21:686 could be edited to better suit the rhythm. For example, right now, it's like this:
but I think that the pattern should go like this:
in order to better follow the rhythm.
3) I feel like, starting at 02:07:221, the three slider's ends there could be pushed back one tick and another note could be added to the stack.
4) IMO, the slider at 02:24:107 feels a bit off rhythm to me, you might wanna change it to being, instead of a revers arrow, one long slider.
5) At 02:33:883 and at 02:34:327, the slider's ends could be pushed back a tick and the slider's end at 02:35:216 could be pushed forward one tick.
6) The two notes before the slider at 03:05:877 as well as the two notes before the slider at 03:07:654 could be spread out a bit more evenly to enhance the triple. Same goes for the slider at 03:12:987.
7) I think that the slider jumps at 03:32:538 are a tad too hard for this difficulty and should be toned down a bit.
8) The ends of the three sliders starting at 03:44:980 could be moved back a tick to suit the rhythm. Same goes for the sliders at 03:52:090.
9) I think that a note could be added at 03:55:423. Reason being that I think that those notes start a bit too late to match the vocals. Same goes for 03:57:200.
10) Refer to #8 for the sliders at 04:11:642, please.
11) I think that the final spinner is waaaaay too long for the song. You should consider shortening it! :3

It would have been a fun map to play, but let me list the elements that ruined it. This is more like a sketch than a normal map.
  • Sliders. You don't have to make every slider curve, you know that? That can cause unaesthetic look as well.
    Spacing : Some are too far, some are too close
    Flow : Not very natural.
