So I was looking around the Feature Requests board, and found this:
In the replays option (or even in live gameplay), you could have the cursors of your fellow players appear and show where they're going. I'd like to use this feature to look at my previous replays on osu.ppy.sh/b/111680. Please forgive me I suck It would be a great tool for looking back and seeing what you did wrong, and then comparing. It'd also be great to see the difference in playstyle between you and one of your worse-off friends and help him/her improve.
