Round 34: Cutting Sliders

Nominated by Agent_Spin_Here. Consists of 2 sliders, usually 1 beat long and 1/2 a beat apart, that overlap each other. The second slider looks like it is 'cutting through' the other slider, hence the name.

Fun to play, if used at the right time and on the right beat.
If not, they're just ugly.

Larto uses them a lot to good effect, but I agree with Gladi about them being ugly sometimes.

Pretty sex.

Only problem I have seen with these is if the ends overlap or if this is done with more than two sliders. Plain ugly then.

Symbolic does these very nicely too.

Hard to make them look right but Larto and Spin do a good job with these. Not for me because I don't use overlap.

They also look delicious with my slider rendering.

These are an overlap that I don't use much myself but don't mind seeing, as they look pretty cool and are fun to play. 5'd
