osu!mania is dead and so is this project.

My main reason for this is that I myself have no use for it. There are simply too few mania maps for something like this to useful when you reach a certain point.

Hello everyone!

I've seen a few websites that help players track their scores and suggest beatmaps to play. Sadly, almost all of them are targeted at osu! and don't support osu!mania. Because of this, I decided to make one myself.

The website currently has dfjk!tips, a tool that suggests songs based on your performace and displays relative difficulty.

I have ideas for more tools and intend to create them if you guys would like them. You're also free to suggest your ideas in this thread or in a PM.

I'm very sorry for the downtime.
Techy: My current webhost does not support SQLite so I have to migrate to MySQL and rewrite parts of the backend.

TL;DR: the site will be up in about an hour.

is this based on the star rates for mania charts? because stars for mania are terribly inaccurate and almost none of the suggestions on the site seem to make sense which seems to be in correlation with the star values on those charts.

They are not based on star ranking. They are based on the reward the songs give upon completion. Higher reward translates into higher difficulty.

we have a very advanced tool in lr2 : http://walkure.net/hakkyou/bms.html
it gives dynamic difficulties to songs depending on how players perform on them
but it takes overall clear rates from all players and since clear mechanics in o!m are a joke...

Good initiative, but I'm afraid o!m players won't make much use of it :?

Something similar to that system might be possible using score milestones instead of clear rates.

This will become useful when there will be more mania maps I can keep up with. In the mean time, improve the UI.
