  2. Also, you could use the volume at places like 00:57:600 - here for emphasis. Try going back to 40% in these places.

  2. 00:37:200 (4,5,1) - I think this is too much overlap, especially for a normal.
  3. 00:49:800 (8,1) - Blanket? Try moving 1 a bit to the left.
  4. 01:15:600 (4,5) - I think the note should be curved a bit more for a better looking blanket. If you don't want to ruin the copypasta, then just copy/paste it back to 3.
  5. 01:18:900 (3) - This is really minor, but the correct stack is x-380 y-220.
  6. 01:28:200 (3,4) - Blanket, the tail is closer than the head. Same thing about copypasta. (I'll stop with blankets for normal.)
  7. 01:31:800 (3,4) - Flow, again, try something like this. (3 and 4 are the only notes changed.)
  8. 01:39:600 (6) - This can be curved so that it doesn't overlap with 5.

Your DS must be consistent through the map, for example 00:22:800 (3) shouldnt be so close to (2) as it would confuse players in timing of the notes.
00:21:600 (1,2) - Stack or fix the DS of these notes
01:05:700 (2) - Turn this into a reverse slider?
01:15:600 (4,1) - Try not to have these overlap

Some notes need the DS fixed. Also the circles that are sitting on slider heads, you should stack them perfectly.

Hard
00:43:200 (1) - Use the same pattern you used here 00:40:800 (1,2)

One positive thing about your map is that it does have good flow so you don't need to adjust much to your notes on the timeline

General


  1. You might maybe use a background with monitor-friendly background, thus with resolution ratio of 16:9 or 4:3, so if you can find a better resolution, go for it.
  2. You must add some custom slider body color to [Colors] section in both .osu files, because if you make a skin for hitcircles, you have to use a slider body color so if someone doesn't use default skin, it might make a weird mix depending on what skin is he using. SliderBorder: 255,255,255 should be fine with current skin.
  3. Artist is not Hatu, but 河圖版 as it is real name of the artist and it also must be in original language. Then put He Tu Ban as it seems to be a correct romanisation, though I am not chinese, this is just result from searching multiple romanization ways and so on, so let someone else confirm if it is right romanization.
  4. Name of the song is supposed to be 小蘋果 as it is the title in original language. I am not sure whether it is really supposed to be (Piano Remix) as the remaker of the song doesn't seem to put this to the title. Romanized title is then Xiao Ping Guo
  5. You should use different section-fail.png, as this is quite aggressive picture, try to get something similar to that three but maybe with leaves fallen or something, but I don't think this is appropriate for the song.

cmn's Normal


  1. Use new combos a bit more often to be consistent. Actually there is bigger time gap between this and hard difficulty. Hard has like 3 seconds for each new combo, that means HP boost every 3 seconds. In case of normal it seems to be about 5 seconds. That means you are getting HP more often on hard than on normal, and so the spread is a bit worse than it should be, because of this imbalance. On the other hand, you overuse them on some places, but on some you are just consistent with Hard. Try to smooth them a bit so there is consistent time of getting HP back and that way fix the spread.
  2. 00:46:500 (2,3) - Fix the distance there, keep it same as previous objects. Your diff needs to be consistent in distance snap because it is the lowest diff and that should be playable and not confusing for everyone.
  3. 00:52:800 (5) - The slider covers the HP bar, move it a bit lower, because it might make a confusion and might result in bad performance. And to be honest, it is not really pretty when it is just covering that bar.
  4. 01:09:600 (2) - Make the repeat to be visible better, but not overlapped by 01:08:400 (6) - there is quite a low time to notice there is actually a repeat under another slider, which will again result in confusion.
  5. 01:31:200 (2) - Similar issue as above. You overlapped start of the slider and there is less than half second to realize where actually the slider starts, player can see only end at the start, so he might play the slider reversed, might misslook it for a circle or he might just not play it at all.
  6. 01:57:600 - You might want to mute a bit the spinner's end. Firstly, because the music is actually pretty quiet here and secondly, because the spinner is not mapped on normal, while it seems the hitsound there is quite significant.

Hard


  1. 01:13:800 (7,8,9,1) - This pattern is weird for many reasons. However, the main is, 01:13:950 (8) - is not even in a song and the distance between this triplet and that slider is exactly the same while there is a bigger time difference. You should move the slider a bit further as it doesn't fit the song or the rest of the map. For example on 01:51:300 (2,1,2) - it was nice idea, because it fitted to the song, but there it doesn't fit in a minimal.
  2. Use AR 7 as currently, there is quite a big gap between normal and it makes the map feel more chilling, so it definitely is better for this song.
  3. You should get a rid of these insensible and out of place notes. These are not in a song and they don't fit the map at all, it just forces the player to play some additional garbage:

    01:00:300 (1,3,5,7) - These are actually pretty messy.
    01:02:400 (1) - This doesn't fit under any explanation. It would be actually better if you really mapped what's in the song here. There are 2 1/8 notes, one on 01:02:325 - and second on 01:02:400 - so I would put a short slider there and then put another note on 01:02:700 - so it makes a sense at least a bit, you shouldn't really put notes with custom beat divisor wherever you want, it is just lack of creativity.
    01:03:900 - 01:04:200 - There are no sounds in a row, you should just make a gap here, because it is pre-kiai, it feels better when there is such a gap of tense.

  4. I also thing these types of pattern 00:40:800 (1,2) - just look something like "let's increase the combo with swingy rhythm" while the song doesn't really seem like that. It adds a bad and inaccurate rhythm to the map with no good reason.

Conclusion: Rankable

Nice little map, I think there are some wrongs and it needs a bit more balance, but it seems to be really fine. Have my star and good luck~! :3

About the metadata, I am pretty sure the artist is correct since 河图 is the song's ID on 5sing (a Chinese cover songs website).
