[resolved] Nearby players shows the wrong region as United States

Problem Details:
I live in China and currently don't use any VPN, yet banchobot told me that I'm in United States.

Checked a sample from the list, and it's obvious that these guys are in the US, not a bunch of vpn users.
I had a similar issue during owc, instead of US (which is what it should be), my nearby players are shown as @ unknown region...

XtinctZ26 might have the same issue as yours.
(The difference was XtinctZ26 used 'Country' filter and this one used 'Nearby')

IP addresses constantly change allocation state. It won't always be correct.

This is a static address and my school has been using it for years, but this problem occured about 2 weeks ago (at least since I noticed it)

same issue for "country", shown as United States.
