You may need a tablet even thought if you get a scanner. You need both of them I think.

Unless you plan to draw straight to the digital canvas without using any traditional sketch as your basis.

Also, tablet's surface is quite slippery compared to a paper so it will be different. And drawing on a small area gets your hand out of condition when it comes to strokes, so I suggest you to buy a medium or large size tablet if you have enough money, hikari.

i am planning on buying one this summer and yeah already asked people which ones are best for drawing
Primrea actually said too that i should get one that has a bigger area

but i am not sure on how much it costs
