Flashlight Feature

I would like to request a "Flashlight+" mod, in which the Flashlight gets smaller at the regular rate, regardless of combo breaks. Let's say you play the map, you get a 400 combo, the spotlight is very small, you break combo, the spotlight does not change, at the point where you would have gotten a 500 combo, the spotlight gets smaller once again. This change, I think, would be very useful for people wanting to just practice using the mod, at realistic levels. This is so you do not need to get a full combo in order to simulate your reaction time later into the song. We could do the same thing that we do for the "Perfect" mod, or the "Nightcore" mod.

Any reply to this would be greatly appreciated.

Even though I like the idea, skins are not the same as mods. I can't even see which song I'm choosing, but that's not the problem; the problem is that I can't even practice the song in the first place. I could just switch skins whenever I'm ready, but why not have that simple feature? How hard could it possibly be? Forgive my ignorance on this topic, but I really think it would be nice, if not very useful for some players.

The current intended behaviour adds to the challenge, but since you can use flashlight skins it won't be as challenging.
Could that possibly be fixed so you can't use such skins with the type of cursor they're using?

No, try it.
The skin is good for training FL when it is at it's hardest state.
I guess if you're not into FL, you shouldn't really be using the cursor.

What about other modes ? The cursor disappears after you start playing with the keyboard in Taiko and for CTB you would have to move your mouse with the ryuuta... D:

You can skin the ryuuta in CTB to have a flashlight overlay around it. Taiko, umm... skin the pippi-don? That's probably doable! Mania's flashlight works differently and doesn't need this.

Its an imbalance like it is but it wont hurt as much with flashlight. The same is in mania mode with fade which is increasing.
Another thing is if this would apply to hardrock aswell with increasing approach rate, but yeah things are just like that and get used to it if you can only remember the first 200 notes in flashlight you need more practice! And thats why flashlight needs so much memorization and playcounts to FC

Someone should make a sticky about "Dont make feature requests to make your life easier" and "Feature requests are to add into/expand the game" like topics as this.
