Problem details:
Simply said I can not open osu! SO... (background) when I first got the game I got it on stable, however after a month of playing it randomly when to stable(fallback) and was locked there. I did not worry about this since I could still submit scores and download maps.
-I don't know if this is important but maybe fallback changes backup files or smth
I update to MacOS Mojave and can not open Osu! so I found this thread - https://osu.ppy.sh/community/forums/topics/679205?n=1 - and followed some instructions
This included updating from Wineskin 2.6.1 to 2.6.2 as well as dowloading Wineskin Winery and getting the WS9Wine2.22 engine and using it for Wineskin.
I also copied my previous Osu files to a new folder (backing up the data) and deleting all dll files and specific stuff said in the thread(only in c_drive > osu).
(I do not have Xquartz btw)
I then got the 'new' wineskin package or (osu.app.zip) from the drive link(from https://osu.ppy.sh/community/forums/topics/682197) replacing the contents with my backed up folder and it still won't open. Thanks, hopefully it is fixable!
