[Archived] Osu updater loop

Problem Details:
Osu is stuck in an updater loop.

I've tried to...
install osu in a different location,
rename the installer to osu!.exe,
let osu download the update then close osu and copy the files in there myself,
do everything a "osu support" member told me to,

and none of the above works.

Did you try to repair osu ?
On the osu folder, there is a shortcut for something which is called "repair osu" you can change some options, to resolve your problem you should click on "repair osu" (I'm not sure that it will works but try it)

run the installer as admin

try installing to a folder that doesnt need any permissions (like desktop, just to see if it works)

I tried it and it doesn't work

I've tried running the installer in admin and putting it on the desktop, still the same thing...
