[Archived] Another "I don't get enough PP" Thread

Problem Details:
Hey guys, for some reason I barely get any PP for playing Beatmaps.
I usually play between 3,5 and 4,5 stars and even for FCing new maps that should give me around 25 PP (according to two PP calculators) I don't get a single PP.
one map before (also 3,5) I got 1 PP for FCing it...

At my current skill I don't care about PP farming but I want to, at least, get the little reward I'm playing for :c

Any ideas ? As you can tell by the title I know that a lot of people have been complaining about that topic but usually they were just unaware of how PP works.
(Same for me but I got the numbas)

Performance points are weighted. If you take a look at the Top Ranks section of your profile, you will see a larger pp value and a smaller, weighted pp value. This weighted value is what is used when calculating your total pp.

In addition to this, each time you set a new score you need to take into account the pp lost from other scores being weighted less than they were before.

These two things in combination reduce the amount of pp you gain from a play by a decent amount.
