[Archived] Game terminates when changed to windowed mode.

Problem Details:
So I recently installed osu! on my laptop, but it has the problem of terminating the game when I change to windowed mode. How do I fix this?

osu! version: 20171106.5

Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date and properly installed. Hold shift the next time you start osu! until a configuration window pops up, select "repair osu!"

If you are still crashing and you get a crying Pippi, click on her and paste the log here.

Or, if you do not get a crying Pippi, follow this guide to get the log from your event viewer and paste that here.

Oh sorry, I might have used the term "terminate" wrong. It doesn't crash, when I change to windowed mode, it acts as if I exit the game as it says "See you next time". So I think it doesn't have anything to do with the graphics driver but the game client itself?
