THIS IS FIXED
I changed driver.

Problem Details:
I've had this issue for quite some time, I have searched the forum for ages but haven't found anything to similar.

When I hover and hold down the button the side of my pen it causes a flicker (sometimes) I'd say once every 15-30 seconds it happens at jumps most of the time.
It does happen even if there's not lots of jumps, video bellow showing on 163 bpm short jumps.

PS : It's not game breaking, its LIKE a "visual" bug almost, because it doesn't happen in streams ever for some reason and haven't made me miss yet.
but its not a visual bug.

settings :
Operation system : Windows 10 CrEAtOrSs UPdDAtE
Tablet : CTH-480

osu! version: 20160403.6

Oh yeah, update your game to the latest Stable release...

Why are you using letter-boxing on fullscreen native res?

Can also try associating the tablet area with the osu!.exe instead of desktop, that may fix it.

no idea why it ended up with the wrong version, it keeps happening though.
its not a recent problem by the way, started happening around 4 months ago.

associated it with the osu!.exe but it's the same.

perhaps it could be my tablet?

Does it happen with your mouse?

Does your cursor flick around when your tablet pen leaves the play area?

didn't happen with my mouse, as far as I can tell it happens only when the button on the side of my pen is pressed because of my grip.

doesn't flicker when it leaves the area.

I'm getting to loan a tablet from a friend soon so I will get to see if its the tablet or something on my pc.

also tried it with both my pens, one 470 pen and the other 480 one but both react in the same way.
