Problem Details:
I have an issue when I changed my banner on my profile
The image doesn't show up on my side, but my friends see it.
So it could be a browser issue, but I don't know how to solve it :/

Video or screenshot showing the problem:
Here is on my profile : http://puu.sh/tnlQq/342dd6b254.png

Shows up for me. I think your internet might just be having troubles loading images, you can try a different browser if you want to be sure. If it works on a different browser than I suggest using that one instead.

Visit this link and see if it loads up for you.

What browser are you using?

  1. Visit your page and press Ctrl+F5.
This will refresh the page and not use the cache.
  2. If that didn't work, I suggest clearing cookies and cache in Settings.
If you're in Chrome, clear cookies and cache in this link: chrome://settings/clearBrowserData

The first link doesn't work.
And I already tried the 2 differents ways,
I tried on Edge, opera and it's the same :/
I think I can live with it, but RIP my banner ;'(

Try these steps
Method 1: Antiviruses or Firewall
  1. Try checking if your antivirus isn't blocking it from connecting
Method 2: IP conflicts
  1. Try turning off your router by unplugging it and wait for 5 minutes before turning it on again.
Method 3: Reset adapter
  1. Try disabling ethernet adapter then enable it again

Method 4: DNS Cache
  1. Try clearing DNS
    1. Open up run (Windows logo + R)
    2. Type cmd and press enter
    3. Type ipconfig /flushdns and press enter

Method 5: Try using a VPN
  1. You can try using a VPN like [lucky:1337]Psiphon[/lucky:1337] and see if it works from there
Just download from the website and open it, after it connects try again.

Do you think I can still play to other games using this VPN or i should disable it ?

There shouldn't be a problem using a VPN, it will be fine!

If a VPN fixed it, there is a little way of fixing it for now,
It would probably fix itself over time, or you could try reuploading the image on another service like Imgur and use that one so it uses a new i.ppy link.

Using a VPN is allowed and you wouldn't have issues as pointed out, so it's fine

I doubt uploading it to another service would make much difference as the user can't even view banners from other users either.

Anyways since VPN solved the issue the thread can be closed /o/ if you run into any other issues or have any other problems feel free to create a new thead!

By the way, could you tell me the error you receive when you visit the link?
I can't really say it should be closed when we've just used a solution that fixes the symptom, but not the problem itself.

Also, if you can do a tracert of i.ppy.sh
(I'm not sure if this is correct but)
  1. Open up run (Windows Logo + R)
  2. Type in cmd and press enter
  3. Type the code below and press enter
    tracert i.ppy.sh C:\log.txt
  4. After it finishes, paste the log in here.
But it's fine if you want to close, sometimes a VPN wouldn't be what a user wants
But if you consider it resolved, feel free to say so :)

The user never mentioned that they got an error, they just said the link didnt work I'm pretty sure the image just showed as blank. Also if a VPN fixed it I think that the problem is with their ISP.
