[Hard]
1. 00:53:181 (1,2) – This tail-stack pattern seems a little weird among your other notes, especially that this is a Hard idff. So consider using normal ones? Also they are not stacked perfectly, they are with minor difference regarding x and y axis.
Better than Easy and Normal, really. This diff is solid, yet need to be polished.

[handsome’s Insane]
I am worrying about diff spread. The gap between Hard and Insane is quite large. In hard there’re rare triplets or longer streams, but only in the start part of Insane there is a 14-note stream. That’s pretty long. I suggest making some part of the streams into repeat sliders. Also here at 01:21:988 (4,5,6,7,8,9,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) -.
1. 00:12:102 (4) – It’s better to NC this because you’ve changed the slider velocity. Only slider-ticks cannot indicate the player well.
2. 00:13:125 (5) – Also NC for above reason.
3. 01:12:613 (2) – This hit the ACC while playing, consider lowering its position.
4. 01:23:181 (1) – Lower the volume. The sliderticks are annoying, really.
5. 01:28:721 (2) - NC
Rhythm is quite organized. Patterns are also solid. Some minor polish will make this diff a great one.

I can’t mod things over 5.0 stars, sorry.

[General]

If the video isn't NSFW (maybe Kill la Kill is), I highly suggest you get one. There are plenty of people capable of encoding them and would be happy to help you with it.
Add KLK to tags?
Check that the lower volume green line at the end of all diffs is consistent.

Easy, Normal, and Hard are fine.

[Insane]
The gap between Hard and this Insane is too big, as this insane is too similar to Original in terms of jumps, streams, circle size, and slider velocity.

The base SV from Hard-Insane-Original is 1.50-1.80-1.90, but Insane and Original have up to 1.20x multiplier via green sections, so you need to remove that multiplier or lower Insane's base SV to 1.60 to be more reasonably in between everything.
I suggest CS4 for this diff too.
00:01:534 (2,3,4,5,6,7,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - This stream is more and thus harder than Original. Change most of it to repeating 1/4 sliders.
00:36:818 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - Lower the distance or amount (change some to sliders) of these jumps since they're almost identical to Original's.
01:21:988 (4,5,6,7,8,9,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - Reduce the amount of notes in this stream, since it has as many as Original while Hard has only 1/2 sliders here. Change some of the notes in Insane to 1/4 repeating sliders or something.
Your kiai has almost no 1/1 sliders. Change some of the 1/2 sliders and circles to 1/1 sliders to ease the pressure on players.

00:23:863 (5,6,1) - This is not very good flow since each slider doesn't lead properly into the next. See https://osu.ppy.sh/news/61334266941 for more examples. Anyways, ctrl-G 00:24:204 (6) - will play much better.
01:04:090 (1) - Same for this, ctrl-G

about the spread. I'll continue getting opinions, but the use of 1/4 in handsome's insane isn't particularly advanced. hard introduces even simpler 1/4 using triples and repeat sliders, so the player should be able to adequately play the simple 1/4 in handsome's insane with low spacing. sure it might be long, but its barely spaced for the most part.

Long 1/4 streams are hard enough to be an issue in the mapset's spread. Also accelerating the stream from 00:01:534 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - to 00:02:045 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - is a technique used in Super Nuko World Guy's Extra. Long streams between Insane and Hard have been reasons to DQ over spread.

Diffs are nice but spread between Hard and Insane must be fixed before this map goes further. I'll be watching this thread.

just passed that i wrote in my mod 01:23:181 (1) - in Easy and Normal diffs to use drum finish (just like your Hard diff), not normal finish

You should really have one especially to stay consistent with lower diffs. same reason as handsome, plus that this is only done in the higher diffs because it probably isn't allowed in the lower ones. Thus, spinner there but nor here. if it's 100% got to be changed, I can, but I like my slider
Diffs are nice but spread between Hard and Insane must be fixed before this map goes further. I'll be watching this thread. light insane added

also wanna mention that while i love the map, handsome's light insane might still be a bit too hard. like, look at the gap between light insane and insane... 4.01 to 4.57, .2 in AR .5 in OD and .5 in drain. not a huge difference really, odds are someone who can sightread light insane with a B could pass insane sightread maybe 2nd try as well.

but the difference between hard and light insane? a .7 star difference (3.29>4.01) alongside 1.3 AR 1 OD and 1 drain. thats a little steep, a mouse-only player who's mastered around the 3.5 star difficulty could probably FC the hard difficulty with maybe a day or so of practice but then have to spend hours just trying to pass light insane. i don't think that should be your goal here, to make two difficulties next to each other be on COMPLETELY different levels of play, my suggestion would be to maybe lower the drain and maybe AR of light insane to get it a bit below 4 stars, 3.9 maybe even 3.85 should be your goal.

personally the way i've always seen it is, two difficulties next to each other should only be different to the point where you'll have to struggle a bit to pass the next one up but it shouldn't be a completely different level of play. different levels of play should come with 1 or 2 maybe even 3 difficulties in-between.

also "light insane" sounds a bit dorky, why not hyper?

I appreciate your concern, but the way you're looking at it is wrong. you're looking at it in terms of linear spread between star rating. spread is evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and is mostly looked at in terms of the introduction of new gameplay elements as you up the difficulties as well as their respective difficulty. Looking at normal, you can see just the use of 1/1 and basic 1/2. Then, in hard, I'm able to introduce more advanced 1/2, using mostly sliders to make it simpler to play, as well as a small amount of jumps/spacing, appropriate for a hard difficulty. Additionally, in this difficulty, I introduce basic 1/4 through the use of simple triple patterns. Then, looking at the Light Insane (no it's not dorky, it's a common difficulty name lol), the spacing increases, and there are actual (short) streams. This curve makes sense and (in my opinion) is completely fine for rank. after that, as the light insane exists between hard and insane, the insane just uses bigger spacing and long streams. I'm not going to bring original into this as it isn't too much harder than Insane (in terms of gameplay elements).

Honestly, I 100% agree. At the moment I'm trying to map different things in different ways to explore different styles and develop my own over time. Thanks and I'll be trying to improve however I can from here (including creativity), although I still want to rank this :p

Took a look at light insane. You need to remove this object 01:28:721 (1) - that comes only 1/4 beat after the spinner and extend the spinner, since 1/4 beat is too soon. Although there is no minimum time for post-spinner objects in insanes, the requirement is 1 beat for a Hard and 1/4 of a beat is rarely ever done in Insanes either. Most Insanes will still leave 1/1 or 1/2 of a beat after the spinner. This is a Light Insane, so I really doubt 1/4 beat is acceptable, regardless of how centered the object is.

i've played osu for around 5 months now and have about 3k downloaded beatmaps and not one single map is named "light insane" besides this one.

a spread difference of 0.7 is fine. anything below 1 is fine and anything above can still be fine upon review. it isn't a necessity for every ranked map to be the only one a new player needs to advance.

maps appear in the qualified list in waves a couple of times per day iirc

probably something added recently to aid in the server load from having 8 qualified maps per day.
