I'm kinda new to modding though, so it might not be helpful at all. >n<

General
  1. the timing isn't 100% correct.. I tried to find the correct one, but failed. cause I suck at tming myself, haha.
    maybe you could try get some help there: t/13795
    or there: t/128701/start=0
  2. I noticed an osb file in the song folder, but there is no storyboard, you can delete it. (i think..)
  3. just on a side note: you could use a higher grid level for more precision. imo it's easier to place objects with a correct and more consistent spacing that way.

  2. Distance Spacing! coming back to this, cause the way this diff is now is really confusing for beginners. in the beginning you might connive it, cause it moves really really slow (still is confusing though), but for example at 00:23:240 (3,4,5,6,1,2,3) .. well, you can't read the spacing it all. 1 will be clicked far too early, cause that is what the Distance Spacing indicates. you might want to read a bit about that here:

    I wanted to say more about this.. but I always have the feeling I sound extremely unfriendly when I do.. so yeah.. if you have any questions about DS or why it's (imo) necessary, you can pm me or write ingame. ><
  3. another thing I noticed is the use of so many circles. Sliders are more 'beginner-friendly' than circles, so I tend to use more sliders than circles. you might want to use a few more as well. (:

  2. maybe reduce the slider velocity here as well? you have pretty long sliders, for example at 00:48:365 (4) , 00:49:865 (1) and 00:54:365 (4) + following.. they do look rather random and are kind of missing character.. Don't know if you get what I mean but a slider like this one looks more interesting and 'characteristic' than just a slider that starts somewhere and just goes.. somewhere, cause it has symmetry.
  3. overall your sliders do miss some shape.. it's always "randomly curved" ones or straight sliders, you need a bit more variety.
    there is a really nice tutorial how to make nice sliders, take a look here: t/37194

It is actually quite similar to Full, though. If this is going to be the hardest difficulty, you can increase HP Drain and AR by 1.
But here it's the same thing as in the other diffs, the sliders and the distance spacing. :\

For a first map it's really nice, though, good job!

Ah, this gonna be the giant fix for this map. I'll try my best placing all the note in DS.
(Actually, when I was modding hoshisorakiseki's beatmap. I noticed that distant snap is so important. So, I'll fix mine too ;) )

I'll post what I've change after all fix is done! This gonna take some times. ._.

Alright, I fixed "Half" difficulty. Anybody who wants to mod my map please take a look at this difficulty first.
I'm currently working on others difficulty.

So, here's change log based from Squirrel's mod.

This version of Bramble Blast is a very nice song, isn't it? :)

I'll do a full (as in mod all difficulties, not just the 'Full' difficulty) mod later, but for now (because it's quite late), I think I'll stick with doing the information, as it's not very clear.

The Title should be Bramble Blast - Super Smash Bros. Remix, I think this would prevent confusion with the original but it's up to you, as you could always put Bramble Blast and people would realise from reading the source that it's from Super Smash Bros. Brawl rather than from Donkey Kong Country 2.

What you add to the tags is up to you. I personally have no idea what Hal laboratory is and I would get rid of it, but it's up to you. You shouldn't have anything in the tags that is in the 'Artist', 'Title', or 'Source' lines, so whether you use Bros. in the Tags is dependent on whether it's in the other lines / categories.

For the Source, you can put Super Smash Bros. Brawl or Super Smash Brothers Brawl, but whichever you choose, make sure you add the relevant tag, eg. If you put Super Smash Bros. Brawl as the source, add Brothers to the tag and vice versa.

I know it says that Michiko Naruke is the arrangement supervisor, but that basically means that s/he supervised the remix of this song from the original, and so s/he is effectively the artist of this track.

As I've said, I'll mod this later, probably tomorrow if possible, so I'll be back soon. :)

For a full mod, well. I'm currently fixing "Full" and "Overbeated" difficulty. So, only "Half" is available for modding.

But, thanks for modding my beatmap information! I really don't know what should I put in for each slot because it's a remix from an old game. It concerned me for a while. :lol:

Mod as promised. I think BAT's will be unhappy if you give me Kudosu again, so don't bother for this one.

General

Fix Tags so they match in all difficulties. AiMod says the Tags are different in Overbeated, so fix this asap. If you don't know how, I'll explain below:
When you are on the edit screen for a difficulty, press F4.
This should bring up the Song Setup menu, and the Tags box is the last line.

Remove Super Smash Bros. Brawl Bramble Blast from all difficulties, then add Brothers to all difficulties, and finally add Nintendo Hal Laboratory to Half and Full difficulties. This should fix the Tag problem.
The Beatmap Rules say that you can't have the same things in the Tags as in any of the other information, for the simple fact that it is just duplicating information, so get rid of the Tags mentioned above and make sure you do it for all difficulties.

Also, lower the hitsound volume to around 50%, it's quite distracting when you're trying to play imo.

Half

Use 1/2 Beat Snap Divisor?

This will have a bit of nazi modding, but I think that's a good thing since the more perfect the map is the better. And of course these are all personal opinions and suggestions and you don't have to do them if you don't want to.

00:13:114 (2) - Jump from (1) to this is hard to read. I suggest put 00:12:739 (1) - at x:84 y:48
If you do the above suggestion, you should do the same with 00:15:739 (1) -
00:21:739 (1) - overlap is ugly
00:28:488 (2) - Previous is .85x and next is .92x . Might want to make it perfect :)
00:30:832 (1,2) - This is very hard to read. It looks like there should be a note here 00:31:020 - which of course doesn't match the music. Consider revising. I suggest to simply add more space on these sliders away from the previous circles: 00:31:113 (3,6) -
00:33:176 (3) - Consider adding some space from previous slider.

Make sure you have proper DS and only use antijumps and jumps when it sounds right with the music!

I don't like forcing mappers to remap their whole beatmap. but i will just say is to remap the parts that doesn't make the player happy. but i see some patterns you did was great(for example: 00:23:614 (7,8,9,10,11) - and 00:34:301 (11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18) -) it flowed great.
Try to see some recent ranked maps in editor mode. It'll help you get new ideas for you! just be sure if it fits to your map.
Sorry if i made a big mod there, Good Luck on ranking! :D

I'm currently looking on it. By the way, I don't see that the overuse of mini slider cause much problem in Overbeated diff. (But sure, in Half.) Of course it's not a problem, but when you overuse the minis-sliders a lot, it makes the rhythm look boring and easily predictable. You want to use various objects in order to make the rhythm look and sound more interesting. Be sure to check this page when you have time.
