Place your name in the white area using a photo editor, the authentic taiko font can be found on page 2. Rename it as scorebar-bg.png and place it in the Taiko Sorairo skin folder.

WORDS FROM THE AUTHOR

I realized that with the release of Taiko no Tatsujin HD/Katsu-Don/Sorairo, the current taiko skin was now outdated. So I took it up to myself to donate a more up-to-date version of the taiko skin. It currently includes the lifebar lying on top of the taiko play bar, Don-chan and Hatsune Miku Don-chan in their HD perspective. Spinner notes are now skinned as balloon notes and updated graphics are included from the new game.

Through this, I created a new and refreshing taiko skin and I hope you guys will enjoy it!

@Maav: The font is Taiko so search in google Taiko Font :3 i hope i helped you also watch a vid on how to put a font into your computer so u can use it!

EDIT: oh wait :( the font is all color so you can't use a outline but you do it :L

go to "C:\Program Files\osu!\Skins\Taiko Sorairo"

Go into the Hatsune Miku Don folder and copy all the files into the previous folder.

I might implement the taiko skin changer

Sadly no, but if you overwrite the original taiko folder's files, it will be.

the normal and silver S/SSes in the result screen should be different though, but I think that wouldn't bother at all. Also, can you fix this poor boy? :(

Currently cleaning up various elements and doing research on things to be changed.

What's been changed so far:
  1. Recreated taiko-bar-left due to misalignment issues.
  2. Replaced taiko-slider with Frank's for now.

Still working on things, the update probably won't be up for a while since I need to sort a few things out as well as completely remake the Wadadon from hand.

Ahh I saw the video of a few videos with this skin and I finally found you!

A few things to point out:

:!: The clear mark should be クリア (ku-ri-a) instead of the つリア (tsu-ri-a) now
:!: Fireworks.
:!: Don-chan is not moving very smoothly just yet. Hope it's already addressed in your new versions! (If you like, try using Wii5's sprites. They seems better for slower frame rate like in osu)
:idea: Small drum's rim color is a bit off to me, too dark.
:idea: Frank's note faces looks more authentic.
:idea: Combo voices are PSPDX. Not complaining because at least much realistic than the pre-DS3 stock, and I know how hard AC0 samples can come by.
:idea: A 2P set with Kat-chan and blue backgrounds and stuff please (/>v<)/
:idea: Naming: It looks more like Wii U1 than AC0S, given your choice of result screen elements

1: Thanks, I've been in need of someone to clear that up.
2: Not sure what you mean but if you mean that the hitbursts are slightly covered, that's due to the fact that the scorebar/lifebar is the topmost layer in terms of skinning so everything else appears under it.
3: It's been fixed slightly in the newer version and there's nothing I can do about it until things are changed in-terms of animation. I would love to rip Wii5's sprites but I can't find any resources nor an ISO I can rip from.
4: I've been relying on LQ lineouts from AC0 so I'm not sure what the true colour is.
5: Will add.
6:Understood, I'll look into ripping the sounds from my current copy of PSPDX. Couldn't extract the sounds due to how/where the game stores the sound/music files
7: Definitely implementing this as well as other recolors and costumes.
8: I looked at AC0's result screen and it looks close to my version but I also have seen the Wii U one. I'm not sure what I based it off of honestly.

Overall, thanks for the awesome ideas and I'll get to implementing them ASAP.

I like it very much :)
The splash of the 良 isn't so flashy that i will eventually get saturated by it like with the default downloadable taiko skin :)
Only thing i didn't like is the difference in loudness between normal and double hits.
Double hits are much louder than normal hits.
I like the approach of same volume but reverb added.

But it's a solid skin so far.
Keep up the good work :)

Love this skin~ just a couple of things to point out

- The actual clear point is lower down the bar than the クリア point
- Big notes sound really loud compared to small notes

those are my only major complaints~ keep up the good work~

Fixed the lifebar recently but I'm still working on other things before I release an update.
Mainly since I'm lurking around for texture rips/line outs from AC0 Momoiro

Downloading a copy for my other machine, and leaving more suggestion: try fixing the balloon note! The real thing is more smooth

Also 2P elements: The not clear part of the gauge is also blue instead of red (in case you didn't know).
And that shade of blue for the scrolling top background is weirdly bright.

Finally about the gauge length: I suggest release in the official version that reflect "osu! pass", and then put the "authentic pass" version as an optional replacement?
