using [] in userpages

when posting stuff on the forums we can use [] to do stuff like this

but if we do the same thing in a userpage it doesn't work. can this be changed so it does work in userpages?

Perhaps the creation of a [noparse][/noparse] tag if it doesn't exist already would solve that, I've used [noparse] tags in other forums before and they are helpful from time to time.
