[Web] Google-style auto query completion

OSU is a international game , really good game , but the Official Website is English only!
Some of OSU players just a little kid!! or he/she is a adult , but his/her English is very poor

Sometimes I think we can use the same function like yahoo , google etc...
My English is not good , so I want use pictures to express what I mean



Then you know what I mean

Some of the anime source is very very long , we can't spell out the words correctly QAQ
like This : Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai

I don't think everybody can't spell out the words correctly

This is not important >_<

I just want to say what I feel

I agree that this game should be more friendly with korean/chinese/japanese/taiwanese users, considering they compose an huge part (I'd say more than a half) of osu!'s player base.



peppy you should really start some kind of project in regards of this matter, you know as well as many of us do that people from those 4 countries can't speak English at all (usually), so they may have trouble searching/navigating this website.

theowest: want to organize a localisation project for 400+ pages across 26 different languages? you go ahead and do that. let me know how long it takes you.

wishy22: i cordially invite you to help out in updating said aspects of the community, or i ask you to politely refrain from making snide comments therein. you are at perfect liberty to complain about such things if you try to help out and nothing happens, but i have not seen anything done by you beyond causing trouble and being snide in threads about various issues.

400+ pages is a little bit excessive, yes... but it would be nice to at least have a translated homepage, registration screen and download page. I'd be more than happy to help if I was fluent in any languages besides English but alas!

I'm not saying to translate every goddamn word in the whole goddamn game to every fucking language you can think of, just translate shit like MAIN PAGE, DOWNLOAD, REGISTER, RANKINGS and maybe some stuff in COMMUNITY (supporter website ffs, you can't imagine how many asians ask "how to get supporter" or what do you get by getting a supporter tag). I'd help with this if I spoke any Asian language fluently, but I don't.

Thanks for the invitation, I'll use it when I really feel like I want to help changing something. No, wait, give that invitation to Tom69, who fucking made a whole difficulty calculator and it was ignored and it's still rotting in Development section, while we still have this AWESOME 5 star system which really works! XD

Btw, you should understand why lots of users don't even feel like helping at all, there are plenty of reasons and some of them are not normal user's fault. :)

translating the hole site is not so smart, but having a search system that gives your more options of all sorts of songs could be good.

Like searching for nise gives all the songs from nisemonogatari

This already works for username searching. I think it would be incredibly server intensive if we did this for all queries. No support.

afaik osu! is going to replace the current forum search engine with google's

also, maybe you could bump topics you think could be denied instead, just bumping to say "no support or support" doesn't really do much.
