So I've got the basics covered, watched quite a few tutorials on timing the map, simple patterns, shortcuts, etc. But I need some help implementing SV patterns and making jump/handstreams fit in with the song. I've tried searching for some 5 star guides, however I can't seem to find anything for the advanced stuff. Any guides/links appreciated

that comes with time, both having mapped a lot and played a lot

If you know the basics already all thats left is just map more and gain experience

there's a general lack of more advanced mapping guides outside mania besides sv stuff

what you can do:
- check out maps you enjoy and check how and why they work
- try to get mods or testplays out of what you make. some ppl are willing to give useful input though be aware that some ppl can really come of as rude so :/
- consider getting to a mentorship cycle it could work out really well for you
- expand your horizons to more unranked charts by searching out maps used in tournaments or checking the favorites of the mappers you like the most
- map more. you may get to establish a style or suddenly learn something just from mapping and testplaying
