Updated Pippi artwork?

Had a conversation earlier today, but Pippi is either 16 or 17 years old now and at any rate the current artwork of her being used on error messages and such is a few years old. I thought it might be cool if people got together and made some nice modern art to give her a visual update in game.

Basically, I would like to see artwork of Pippi in game that is:
1. no longer 12 years old
2. clean
3. more advanced artistically

I'll probably come up with some myself at some point that satisfies 1 and 2, although I don't think my artistic talent is sufficient to accomplish 3. It'd be nice to see contributions from multiple people so that if peppy is amenable to the option, he has many options to select from.

Hm, I might know someone who could help, but I'd have to ask him first. Good idea though, wouldn't hurt to see something new.

Im not sure what your asking... if its about keeping up with age then you are going to keep changing the artwork till shes 60 and those things slap her kneecaps?

I don't see anything wrong with it as is. As far as im concerned all that it could use is a rework to fix the wiggly lines same goes for the taiko.

her in-game implementation, as it were, is 15 (it was a compromise between those wanting her to be 12 and those wanting her to be 17 if I'm not mistaken)

she's still a tramp either way though

Welp I assume shes sweet 16 for the rest of osu!'s existence... Anything I do will reflect that age and theres not a damn thing you can do about XD

I have a few projects and any age change would screw me over...

Eeeeh I don't know, I'd like to see some change, at least new artwork even if it doesn't necessarily mean making her look older.

Still, someone should have a shot at drawing a 20 year old pippi, just for fun

lol I never was much of a fan for drawing pippi as a chibi super loli, almost every time I have she's been a more detailed 19-ish version. Either way I have a 60% finished project of pippi that I've been rarely working on due to lack of time. Funnily enough, it's actually almost exactly what is requested here, maybe I'll finish it at some point. If you dunno what I am saying, it's dark and grim and pippi is killin' shyt. If nothing else I'll be able to finish it itself without color; coloring is not my forte in the least.

If you were kind enough to ink it on a transparent layer rather than a white background, I can colour it ezpz - that's what Saru and I did with the current chibi Pippi that appears on the site banners and stuff

I always forget Pippi exists, the only "mascot" I can relate to osu is the catch the beat character.
