Stuck preview picture on old bg

So basically i uploaded a map, then some days later i changed the background.
Unfortunely, the preview pic is stuck on the earlier version of the bg, (which is just awful)
How do i change that, and is this just for me, or everyone that downloads this map after the bg change will have the updated preview pic?

It usually takes a few days until the thumbnail picture is updated. What you can do to change it in your client as well is first deleting your map (make sure that the latest version is uploaded to the website though). Next, go into your osu! folder, then there should be a folder inside named "Data", however this folder is hidden and you need to make hidden folders visible in the file explorer settings. Inside the Data folder there is another folder named "bt". There you will find all the thumbnails of the maps you downloaded. Find the right one by searching your beatmap's ID (the number in the web address of your map) and delete it. A new one should be created automatically when you re-download the map.
