Sex.

Parents refer to it as "the birds and the bees." Television glamorizes it. Religion and science regard it as the process to create life, while hedonists see it as a pleasure unlike no other. All of us know what it is, and many of us have probably experienced it.

So let's talk about it.

Sex, sexuality...the topics are many, varied and never just black or white. What it is to you may be radically different to what it is for me. Experiences differ, some amazing and some downright horrible. Still we live and learn, so I for one feel that this discussion is a rather good thing.

That said, here's what you CAN talk about:
- The relating of personal experiences is fine as long as you keep the language clean. Be tactful; avoid referring to the parts by slang names (they have scientific names for a reason, so use them).
- Links can be posted provided they are RELEVANT and INFORMATIVE. Examples would be Wikipedia and WebMD. Such links absolutely must be Safe For Work (SFW). Remember, forum rules apply at all times.
- Issues such as abstinence, alternative sexuality, contraceptives and abortion may be discussed civilly. This includes topics relating to the law. In such debates, avoid bashing peoples' beliefs, and provide evidence where necessary.
- Fetishes, sexual enhancements, and so forth may be discussed, but the language rule applies. There are some notable exceptions, however, which are discussed in the next section.

Things you CAN NOT talk about:
- Anything involving zoophilia/beastiality or pedophilia (children under 13) is strictly forbidden. Ephebophilia (teens 13-17) can be discussed or debated with these three things in mind:
A) Age of consent varies by territory. For example, in the United States the age of consent is 18 in some states, 16 in others, and 14-15 in a select few.
B) Romeo and Juliet laws (covering statutory sexual assault) vary by territory.
C) Lawbreaking is not to be condoned. You may discuss whether or not the laws should be changed, but open exclamations of illegal activity are a bannable offense in the osu! community.
- Once again, there is to be NO ATTACKING ANOTHER'S BELIEFS. As stated earlier, this is an issue with a lot of gray area. There is no right or wrong here because we all see the situation differently.
- There is to be NO SOLICITATION OF CYBERSEX within this thread. Yes, sexting has become popular in the modern age. You can talk about it here, but using this thread to do so or to ask others to do so is another story entirely.
- Lastly, if common sense and netiquette tells you that you probably shouldn't do something, then don't do it. Remember, what you do not only affects the quality of our community, but also people's perception of you as an individual. Consider that very carefully.

Failure to abide by the thread regulations or the forum regulations will result in this thread becoming locked, the possible suspension of accounts, and never being allowed to discuss sex in the osu! community again, ever.

=========================================================================

Well, since this is my thread, I suppose I should start things off. I am a Male-to-Female transsexual, so sex has always been a bizarre subject for me. It would help if you guys knew what transsexualism was. In essence, it is derived from transgenderism, which is the desire to live as the opposite sex. Male-to-Female means that I was born male, but am transitioning to the female sex. The word "transsexual" defines someone who has acted on that desire, and started the change. As such, I have been transitioning for almost a full year (October will make one full year). To say that I was attracted to women would make me a lesbian; to say I was attracted to men would mean I was straight.

I am attracted to men, women and other transsexuals (so essentially anyone human). I have had physically intimate relationships with several women and one man (which was my most recent relationship, back in college). I am generally the more submissive one in my relationships, preferring the other person to take control of me. However, when I get flirtatious I become a little more dominate, preferring to tease my lover mercilessly before bringing them to a satisfying sexual climax.

As I continue to transition, I will lose my ability to produce sperm. And when I do get genital reassignment surgery, I will still be unable to get pregnant, as the technology to create a functioning uterus in a transsexual has not been invented. Therefore, sex is not about procreation from my personal perspective. To me, it is nothing but pleasure.

I would say that is part of the reason I am a hardcore fetishist. Because I don't see myself as having limits, I gravitate towards the sexual taboo. I have a foot fetish, which is probably my most normal fetish. I love to give foot massages, the more intimate the better. I have several clothing related fetishes, the most prevalent being lycra/spandex/latex skintight clothing. I love the constricting feeling it gives, as if my body is made of elastic. Also, I just hate being in the nude. Every time I've had sex I was clothed in some way, shape or form. Corsets are another fetish of mine; the look of a wasp waist is incredible.

I think that's enough for now. I wanna hear your story.

This is a bit too extreme for my eyes. You should add a tl;dr for the sake of us.

Oh hey, another Tranny.
Hello.
Ephemeral
i am unsure of the appropriateness of this thread, as the osu! community is supposed to be an all-ages site.

i applaud you for your effort in crearing a civil thread about an otherwise controversial subject, though
Hika
Is that what this is all about?!

That would defeat the purpose of listing a bunch of things that people really need to read before they post.

Hello.
I would like to point out that the words "tranny" and "shemale" are best left unused outside of pornography. Since, you know, they are a bit offensive. Not faulting you, just letting you know.

My understanding is you need to be 13 to register, so I geared toward 13+ individuals. Personally I think you should have to be 13 just to be let on the internet. But kids these days are too wound up in it. Hell, ten year olds know about sex now.

You've had nine posts and you're already coming out as a transexual to the Osu! community? This must be your favorite subject. XD

Not like it's a big deal. As I said, I'm already completely out in the real world, not to mention on the rest of the internet. Also, introductions are always fun. ^_^ Gets people to think.
Ephemeral
most people generally don't introduce themselves by going extremely in depth into their sexual adventures, lol

i'm not really sure what you want us to discuss, to be honest. most of this stuff is extremely personal and you'll probably get a few people talking seriously and the rest being too embarassed to post anything about it

Well, when I thought of it I was considering opening it up primarily to sex advice, discussion of the issues (you know, sex prior to marriage, abortion, the legalities behind gay marriage and domestic partnership, etc.), and also to clear up misconceptions people have about certain aspects of sex and sexuality. People don't have to participate, but I think that a lot of people may actually want to.

well, i suppose i'll get the ball rolling then:

abortion: the whole rape scenario thing is the portion of this that gets the most attention - but i always wonder what people do where the mother wishes to abort the child, but the father does not want her to. who has the rite of passage (metaphorically) here? i'm leaning towards the mother, since ultimately it has to grow inside her for 8-9 months, but the child is equally comprised of the father as well. the same applies vice versa with differences (obviously), but i do struggle how to quantify this internally. i suppose it's a choice that the couple has to make for themselves, i guess. legislating against this is a ridiculous notion and i personally find it disgusting to wrest control of a person's reproductive behavior away from them. people are always responsible for their own choices.

gay marriage: i agree with this in a legal sense, but if legislation goes so far as to force churches to perform religious ceremonies for gay couples where they may conscientously object, then that legislation is wrong and needs to be addressed. if churches open themselves up to discrimination lawsuits over the legal inclusion of gay marriage, then the whole thing needs to go back to the drawing board imo. every couple should have the right to be legally bound, but you cannot extend the law to force religions to bind them under creed as well. it's like mandating that Jews -have- to eat pork - completely ridiculous.

I can't say I've really thought of the paternal vs. maternal argument, though I've heard cases of the mother being charged with attempted murder by the father in the past. Dunno the verdicts on those cases, so I couldn't tell you. What do I think? I think that it's the mother's decision. When men are able to have a uterus transplanted into them, things will change entirely. You will see men getting pregnant and having it be their decision instead.
