[Archived] osu! Multiplayer lag

Problem details: So basically its not really my problem, but my friend's osu lags as soon as he tries to play Multiplayer with me. He can't find it for a few minutes. When he joined, I started the game but it took a while for him to get into the map. In my opinion, something's wrong with his connection. We tried several things like reinstalling osu, restarting his router and set universal offset to 0ms etc. Hope you guys can help me to fix his problem! :D

There have been a high amount of reports from people with Telekom as their ISP.
Since you are German, I can make an educated guess that your friend is also German? if so, is their ISP Telekom? If so again, not much we can do at this moment. Will just have to wait for the issue to resolve on their side.

thank you very much for your fast answer, i've told my friend whats going on and I guess we do have to wait. Thanks alot ^^

This has been happening to me too as of today, I didn't launch the game for a week until today and now when I try to go in a multi it lags. Takes a while to load map, ready, etc...

Yea same with me I can play osu at 0.3 ms in solo but in multi I have to press the windows key to go to desktop and then press osu again to get the 0.3 ms in multi and its a new pc my old pc was just fine running osu so I feel like its an osu problem idk
