Problem Details:

I see a lot of ranked beatmap genres that are still unspecified (other), beatmap creator are less sensitive

I believe it's up to NAT or BNs to set these genres, I'm not exactly sure who has access to the web permissions necessary to do so.

Not sure if this thread really belongs here though, it isn't really an issue because the genres just aren't being set at all. Your probably better off asking for a feature that allows mappers to set their own genre so we don't need to have other people doing it.

genre was set by bat/qat but was changed a few months back, they are no longer required to reach rank, so maps are all unspecified. There are proposals to use them again but all have died.
