General Rules
- EZ Mod is a must have on all maps.
- The tournament will be played out as a single elimination tournament and registrations will close once 32 players join.
- There are no rank requirements.
- It is required that all participants join the discord server.
- You must speak in English both on discord and in the multiplayer lobbies for this tournament.
- Not showing to your match (with no reasonable attempt to reschedule) will result in a ban from the next instance of the tournament.
- Manual seeding will be assigned by staff, implemented by taking into account any replays you submit to us as an accurate representation of your EZ Mod skill and/or past EZ Mod Tournament performance.
- The only current prize is one month of osu!supporter for the winner.
- Regularly scheduled matches will start on Sundays at 2 PM UTC with 45 minutes for each round.
- In the case of a reschedule ("this has never happened before"), please notify staff and your opponent whichever situation is earlier between 24 hours prior to original match start time and 24 hours before new proposed match time. Your opponent reserves the right to decline any reschedule proposals. A match can only be rescheduled once. Rescheduled matches will not be streamed.
- Staff will attempt to ref as many matches as possible but let's be real, its kind of hard to fake an mp link. Therefore, we only require one of the 2 players of a match to post the final scores and mp link of their match in #results on discord, with the other player signing off on it stating they agree with the post (just either say something below the post or react with a thumbs_up or ok_hand). However, if the match is reffed, the ref will compose this results message while both players sign off on it in some way.
- Each pool (but the first one) will have a community picked map which can be a suggestion from anyone in #community-mappool on discord and voted on by anyone as well. Vote for what map you prefer through whatever positive reaction you want. Anyone can vote for as many maps as they please.
- Any type of harassment is an automatic disqualification (and a ban for the next tournament).

Match Rules
- Your profile must allow the receiving of multiplayer invites.
- Regularly scheduled matches (especially if streamed) must have the lobby title formatted as "EZMT4: (Player1) vs (Player2)".
- If your opponent hasn't joined the match within 10 minutes of its start time, you will automatically win.
- Head To Head and Score V1 will be used for this tournament.
- Each player will have the option to pick a warm up map before the match. No time limit rule, just please keep it to a reasonable length (no marathon maps).
- Players will both use the command "!roll" in the in-game multiplayer chat and the player who rolls the higher number wins the roll (lower number loses the roll). If both players roll the same number, repeat until the tie is broken.
- Each player will have the option to ban a map from the pool after rolling. Roll winner gets first ban, then roll loser gets second ban.
- The player with the highest !roll will pick the first map, lowest !roll picks second and then it alternates players from there.
- Not picking maps is fine as you can allow your opponent to pick them all if you wish to do so.
- All maps are [EZ+FreeMod] unless specified.
- DT and HT can be picked as secondary mods if both players agree to use it.

Extra info
- This tournament is meant to be for fun, so don't expect anything too professional out of it.
- If you've been in any of the last 3 tournaments, you'll know the maps are hard on the later pools. However this time, we are aiming to make this tournament geared towards newer players to encourage players how have never tried EZ Mod to give the poor underrated thing a shot (For a gauge, pool 1 contains a range or 3-4 SR maps).
- Fair warning though, pools have all been finalized and there will be 1-2 hailie maps per pool
- Feel free to DM either myself or nitsuga5124 on discord for clarification of any rules in this forum post or with any further questions. If anything in the forum post of ruling significance gets changed, it'll be announced in the discord server.
