I propose to create a separate channel for Belarussian osu! players. I think that people from Belarus will support my idea, because, for example, only 6 million people live in Bulgaria and they have their own separate channel. 10 million live in Belarus and we have our own national language. I think it would be wise to create a channel for 10 million people, since they also want to communicate within their own country.

I don't think this is necessary. Language-specific channels are for languages, not countries.

Even if we were to make that distinction, we would likely need to do the same for other channels (e.g. Spanish speaking countries, English speaking countries, etc). This would just result in a ton of dead channels (of which there are already quite a few), huge overlaps in the purposes of said channels, and separation of the community for no reason.

Edit: Nice edit from all CIS countries to Belarusian only. If it is one specific language, then this isn't too bad of a request, but from past experiences with #ukrainian, there probably needs to be a very high demand for anything to be added. Even with the apparent super high demand on the forums for years, that channel still seems to be relatively low traffic.

But we have belarusian language so yeah, you must make one.

why there is a channel #bulgarian, but there is no channel #belarusian. After all, Bulgarian is not as common as Belarusian

Yeah, we have belarusian language. You made channel for ukranian so why cant you create for belarussian?

I think it's necessary to add a Belarusian chat room. Belarusian Osu! community is a rapidly growing community that features some of the strongest CIS osu! players, not only in std, but also in other game modes. In my opinion, It totally deserves its own chat room.

Not bad idea, since we're independent country, have our national language, and we also have our community, so i think belarussian chat channel would be nice!

I think that create Belarusian chat in Osu! very good idea. We have our own community and national language, it would be great to have your channel in Osu!

i agree with this idea of creating belarussian chat, because we have lots of good and perspective players in our country so it can help us to communicate with each other in our country. Great idea! <3

Ukraine has over 3x as many active users and their channel is apparently dead? I don't know about belarus with its 50,000 yielding significantly better results...

Ukranian chat is not dead, I was personally convinced of this. I'm sure our smaller number will rally us stronger and our chat will be active.

It's not completely dead, but not counting the initial spur of activity from when the channel was first added, I think it averages somewhere below 50-100 lines for the entire day. Even on the weekends it doesn't seem to go over 100 or so lines for the entire day (with some exceptions of course).

This past weekend seems to be the most active the channel has been in a while. If you look at nearly the entire month of June, there was almost nothing in chat every day.

Just my two cents, still a valid request if the community is growing.

Even though we do have guys who speak belarusian only I think it's too early to create #belarusian channel. The language is pretty much dead at this point. Maybe I will change my mind in the future. But for now that's how it is.

To all other belarusians: you can hate me but that's how I currently see it. No offense.

I believe that the large number of votes and comments with positive impressions on the contrary shows our serious approach to this issue.

Yes. I love Belarussians

I am completely agree with this idea, it would be great opportunity for different players to get acquainted with Belarusian community (also, I think it will expand the Belarusian community).
