Song Request for Beatmappers

is there no way to request songs for beatmappers to make?
There should be a song recommendation to a certain map maker in the player profile section,
the map maker can be given an option to permanently ignore or accept incoming beat maps from each players or everyone.

Mappers generally don't take requests as they map on their own accord. But if you're certain that a mapper would take said request, then why not shoot them a PM?

there used to be a request thread waaaay back in the day, because it was actually used. These days, not so much. What you're thinking of is something of a feature request, though. One that seems like a neat idea imo

even though afaik nobody maps by request any more
