I've been watching some people play osu and sometimes I see people play with no numbers in their hitcircles and I honestly don't know why. Can someone list the pros and cons of having numbers vs no numbers?
As for an actual answer to this, it's personnal preferences. I think it's like "why do I need numbers if I don't even care about them anyway". This is often matched with a lack of combo colors or even follow points, because they just aim for the dot instead. The difference is mostly reading in my opinion.
