In kiai: curved sliders --> synth sounds grey linear sliders/circles --> snare sounds
Set of four pitch-decreasing synths are mapped with a pattern of four sliders with decreasing SV. generally, set patterns of 3-5 hitobjects are used to represent the same parts of the music, rotating between variations to keep things fresh
boop beatmapsets/1212631 Tried to make the movement based around how you would play the instrument ie. violin gets back & forth and piano gets more flowy stuff. ty
focuses on playability based on vocal with a lot of sharp angle flow & increase in velocity on every kiai to gradually shows the impact of its intensity
Normal, Hard, and Extra have nothing special about them. (extra is 200 pp farm) For the shrimp difficulty I tried to use fast sliders because the song because I think the song makes sense with fast sliders. For insane I tried to do a more grid like mapping.
beatmapsets/1210865#osu/2520733 Totally using rectangle pattern and a lot of doormat's visual , also comfortable jumps in entire of the map(not spam jumps)
beatmapsets/1171401#osu/2443447 NM, thanks. Any difficulties would do, I've been studying some hexgrid mapping styles (Nevo / Monstrata) so, I guess you could kinda tell I was trying hard to have clean visuals / doing hexgrid jump patterns.
beatmapsets/1159170#osu/2557466 NM Assuming this is still open? Anyways gameplay elements;.overlap reading awkward thing thingy on hard, insane and topdiff
nm req beatmapsets/1247733#osu/2605920 When mapping this i wanted to try and emphasise my use of aesthetics mixed with a bit of flow Audience: Song lovers tbh
my thought process was basically to make the neatest map I could since I need practice making decent insane+ diffs, I also wanted to emphasize the background music rather than the vocals because the ranked versions mainly focus on vocals. audience is oral cigarettes lovers lol
aspiring mapper, PM me if you need a normal/hard GD
I wanted to try and recreate Elite Beat Agent/Ouendan inspired maps, so I'm currently trying to map to the lyrics with this song. The next time I have to work on is symmetry, but that'll be after I get placement down with sliders and circles.
Expert : Tried making an unorthodox smooth aim map that plays a lot of finger control and reading. Extreme : Finger control based. Flowy but precision at the same type. I didnt want a lesser hard version of the top diff, something completely different. top diff : Streams that feel smooth to follow. Want it to be fun.
I mapped each singer with a distinct pattern layout (e.g. straight sliders and squares for the first, pentagons and curved sliders for the second). On parts where they sing together I would combine the patterns.
