At first i thought it was intended but apparently not so, all hotkeys including Chat (F8) are locked during submission so you can't activate the chat unless you opened it beforehand.

Sometimes the chat table opens by itself... but it's true, All "F" keys (F1 - F12) are "locked" and don't work.
