Some beatmaps set have a really good, or really bad diff. Some players rate the map accordingly, but it's not representative of the whole mapset.
So what if at the ranking screen, after scrolling down to where the ratings usually are, there is an option to rate only the difficulty played? The ratings for other diffs will be shown too, and so will an average score for the entire beatmap set.
